I already offered to take the suit back at full price from the customer and we completed that transaction on Dec The customer changed their mind on Dec and came back and picked up the suitRental was due if they wanted a refund on the purchase of the suit. We did leak tests both times we had the suit in and they tested fine. I cannot speak of the condition of the suit now that they have had it. If the suit was unusable why did you use it for weeks? You staff member, *** said your other suits were fixed now and you did't need our suit anymore when he returned itNOT that it still had issues

Revdex.com:
You did not offer me a full price refund on the suit or I would have taken it. You told me that you would charge me rental which would have meant I owed you more for a suit that still leaks since the day I got it from you and you said no I won't charge you more we will just call it even. There was no offer to refund me the price of the suit. I came back the next day to pick it up because you wouldn't refund the money. And you don't need to speak of the current condition of the suit because we've had it but you do need to explain the constant bringing of the suit back for repairs to the right leg that has been leaking since day one and is still continuing to leak. That is the issue we are having. You have looked at the suit I for the right leg on three occasions and I have witnesses stating that fact and yet it still isn't fixed yet every time we pick it up from you you say it is. And that you have sealed the seems up and that must have been the issue. Yet it still leaks. I wanted my money back because you sold me a suit that is in useable and worthless for my company. Every time we have used the suit we brought it back to you because it was leaking and you said you fixed it so we used it again. Then we would have to bring it back because it was still leaking. And it is still leaking to this day. Either fix the suit properly and the way you should have or give me my money back.
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.

Regards,

This company, [redacted], had one of their staff members, [redacted], who worked for us previously, call me on my cell phone on a Sunday to help her solve a rush job that had on Monday.  I spoke with her 4 or 5 times on Sunday (my day off) to give different options for them to solve...

their problem.  [redacted] had other drysuits but they were in for repair somewhere else and she wanted to rent or purchase a suit from me. Another person from their company came in on Monday and looked at the new suits to purchase.  They did not want to spend the money for a new suit ($1-3k).  We offered a rental.  On Nov. 11 we charged them $245. for a 7 day rental.  Then later in the day they decided they would just purchase the used suit for $749 so I credited them for the $245 they had paid and applied it to the purchase.  A day or two later they called and said the wrist seal "fell off".  I told them to bring the suit in and we would fix it.  Usually any dry suit repair will take 1-3 weeks to complete because we do not have technicians who work full time that are qualified for this repair.  However, I called a service technician in and he was waiting on them when they drove in from Austin.  We fixed it immediately and he left with the suit within that hour he was here.  The wrist seal did not fall off, the rip in the wrist seal was from user error.  We explained how to put on and take off a dry suit properly so this would not happen again.  I repaired the suit for FREE even though it was not our fault.  Cost to me was $65.  On Nov. 16 they called and said the other wrist seal ripped off.  They brought it in and ONCE AGAIN, it was user error not a suit issue.  I REPAIRED IT A SECOND TIME FOR FREE.  This time my cost of $92.38. They did say they appreciated me repairing the suit twice for no cost. One month later on Dec. 14th they decided that they did not want to keep the suit after using it for 5 weeks.  I said no problem.  I will give you FULL VALUE for what you paid me for the used suit and just apply the rental fee for 5 weeks.  Rental for 5 weeks x $245 per week = $1225.  Since the rental was going to be more than the cost of the suit.  I said I would discount the suit rental to $749 letting them have a savings of $476.  [redacted] was in my office and said that was fine.  The next day, Dec. 15, they wanted to pick the suit up AGAIN and just keep it instead of paying rentals.  I said that was fine. On Dec. 16 we got the notice from Revdex.com that they filed a complaint against us!  I think you can see that I went above and beyond for many days to try to solve their issues.  I have tried to call [redacted] several times and she is not returning my phone call.  I told her I can't believe her boss would complain about me and my company after EVERYTHING I have done to help solve their issues.  Please contact me if you have other questions.  I have all the receipts documenting the transactions and dates listed in this response should you need them.Thank you- [redacted]Gigglin' Marlin Dive & [email protected]
