We recently moved with Gigi Moving & Trucking from Long Island to the [redacted], about 830 miles. The owner came over our home and gave us a non-binding estimate. I asked for more than one because I wasn't sure whether some items were going and he obliged. We had binding estimates from two other major companies, but the owner explained that it was in our best interest to have a non-binding one, especially because we weren't sure about some items. HE WAS RIGHT! We found that he is a VERY HONEST person. The final weight showed that our belongings came under the estimates! We were very happy at not having taken those other higher binding estimates. The cost of the move was very reasonable and worth every cent. His workers were VERY PUNCTUAL both when they picked up our belongings and delivered them. They are all very pleasant, attentive, careful, and efficient We had absolutely no problem both with the pick up and delivery. We found that it was an advantage to move with Gigi because the company uses their own truck for pick up and delivery. Twice in the past, I had problems with delivery when I hired large moving companies. At delivery, I not only had broken furniture but was told I had to pay more. Not the case with Gigi! John, the driver, with one other guy delivered exactly when they told me they would and placed the items where I asked them to place. Everything arrived in a perfect state. So, we highly recommend Gigi Moving, especially if you want to deal with an honest company and an efficient, friendly, careful staff of moving guys.
