I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.As you know it is 2014, and many people do not balance a checkbook!! If I authorize a charge via debit card and check my account and the charge I authorized says pending, I assume it has been withdrawn from my account. Again, I authorized the charges on those specific days not 7 months later. The way you guys handled the situation was unacceptable, (you had emails on file), you should've warned your customers before hand! After the fact you sent a generic email apology which I received at least 10 of..(annoying).

The customer is correct in that our system had been blocked by "bad cards" as explained by technician. The main...

point we have been trying to explain to our customers is that these charges were not overages, or double charges. The charges were all debits that were owed to our store, they were simply delayed. The best example we can use is, that handwritten checks also take time to fully process from our store to our bank, to theirs, and back to them. In this case that delay was months. The only way that the account would have gone into the negative, is if the checkbook wasn't balanced in the same way that a physical checkbook is. We greatly apologize for every inconvenience that this has caused. We are very confident that we have taken measures to ensure that this does not happen again.[redacted]General Manager

I made a purchase of 2 dozen mini cupcakes and 3 regular sized cupcakes around the end of March, 2015. I contacted GiGi's via [redacted] to advise them that I received my mini cupcakes in horrible condition (pics were included and the larger ones were fine). They were thrown in the box (some up-side-down and there was hair in one of the two boxes I purchased. I was contacted by a manager over the two locations in my area and after sending him the pictures and corresponding for a few days, he took my address and said he would mail me coupons for the price I paid for the two dozen mini cupcakes. I also advised him that the cupcakes were uneaten and I was keeping them to return to the store upon their request. They never advised me to do so and I discarded them after a week. After not receiving the coupons after about 5 weeks, I contacted him again via email. I waited a week and never receive a reply from him or anyone else from his company. I filed a dispute with my back who advised me to file a complaint with the Revdex.com.Product_Or_Service: 2 Dozen Mini CupcakesOrder_Number: N/AAccount_Number: N/ADesired SettlementI no longer want the coupons as I don't trust anything else from this company. I would like to receive a refund and be done with them.
