Review: Dr Aaron, G office has sent me a bill for $50.00. The bill description is for a no show for an apt on 8/*/13. I cancelled this apt myself and spoke to [redacted] and she told me that there is an office policy of a $50.00 fee for same day cancelations. She said that I signed this form and agreed to the fee if I ever canceled a same day appointment. Since I have received this bill I have requested a copy of the form [redacted] claimed I signed. It is now October and I have not received this document she claimed I signed, but I do know that I did not sign this form for a fact. I made an emergency apt with [redacted], * because my current gynecologist was on vacation. The bill states that I will be sent to collections for this $50.00.Desired Settlement: I am asking for proof of that agreement. I am requesting a copy of that form she claims I signed. I want her to withdraw this $50.00 bill.

In response to complaint # ID [redacted].

Patient [redacted]as seen as a new patient on the same day she called as a courtesy since her doctor was on vacation. She signed the Office policy that requires 24 notice for a cancelled or rescheduled appointment. She made a follow up appointment. She received a reminder call 48 hours prior to her appointment reminding her of the office policy and her appointment date and time. She did not show up for the appointment and did not give any notice therefore she received a bill. Attached is a copy of the office policy that has her signature. She was faxed a copy of this several times when she called to request a copy but her fax machine was not working so she was mailed a copy. This complaint has no merit and it is unfortunate that she used this complaint route to avoid paying . Our office will waive this bill for her again as a courtesy.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.

I would like to clarify that [redacted] did not fax me this form nor did she mail it to my home, but she did continue sending me just the bill. I sent her several letters requesting that she send me a copy of her office policy with my signature on it. I have reviewed the document and do realize that I did sign it and would she have sent me a copy as I requested I would have never asked for the assistance from the Revdex.com and instead I would have paid and apologized for any inconveniences. I am relieved that Revdex.com was able to get a hold of her in regards to this matter and am pleased that the bill was waived. Thank you again for speaking up for me in this matter and rectifying the problem.
