I have been a member of the FBCU since the 1970sI had been stationed at Fort Bragg on and off during active duty and retained membership after retirementRecently I had a family emergency where I had to use my debit card for purchases over a weekendThey stated that companies held my charges and posted them all on the same day; October 3rd My account went from $and they immediately started charging me $dollars for charges that occurred over the weekend$for a $charge, $for a $charge, $for a $charge $for a $charge $for a $They also charged me $for a that was mad assuming a signature line of creditBut I can assume that charge...however, I was placed an additional $in the red based on charges because they said my $did not exist...that I went from $to so those charges were validWhen I stated that I would appeal tp the board of governors, the individual that I spoke with Tammy Mauer, stated "Go ahead, they're not going to give you your money back" This isn't an isolated incident and if it happened to me, I'm sure that they're ripping soldiers and veterans off every time pay day falls on a SaturdayI would recommend credit union because of the benefits that you get from it's membershipBut things have really changed and the individuals that I've recently dealt with are caustic and arrogant

What happened to Ft Bragg FCUs service? I have kept my account there since and had no plans to cancel it but lately their service has taken a turn for the worse my wife was due for a new Credit card and I was due a new Debit card because they had expired Use to be they showed up in the mail....not any more! I called to find out what happened and I am always told the same thing "They were mailed"So I verified my address knowing they had it correct because they send me monthly statements Well if they were mailed and not delivered or activated they should have came back to FBFCU Now they force me to pay $replacement fee for a card that I never received the original???? Sounds like a profitable scam for FBFCU to me

I have been a member of the FBCU since the 1970s. I had been stationed at Fort Bragg on and off during active duty and retained membership after retirement. Recently I had a family emergency where I had to use my debit card for purchases over a weekend. They stated that companies held my charges and posted them all on the same day; October 3rd 2016. My account went from $71.45 and they immediately started charging me $28.00 dollars for charges that occurred over the weekend. $28.00 for a $13.00 charge, $28.00 for a $7.00 charge, $28.00 for a $10.00 charge $28.00 for a $38.00 charge $28.00 for a $16.00. They also charged me $28.00 for a 16.00 that was mad assuming a signature line of credit. But I can assume that charge...however, I was placed an additional $140.00 in the red based on charges because they said my $71.45 did not exist...that I went from $71.45 to 0 so those charges were valid. When I stated that I would appeal tp the board of governors, the individual that I spoke with Tammy Mauer, stated "Go ahead, they're not going to give you your money back". This isn't an isolated incident and if it happened to me, I'm sure that they're ripping soldiers and veterans off every time pay day falls on a Saturday. I would recommend credit union because of the benefits that you get from it's membership. But things have really changed and the individuals that I've recently dealt with are caustic and arrogant.

Now they force me to pay $5 replacement fee for a card that I never received the original????

complaint, ID [redacted], that was submitted on 3/25. After reviewing all correspondence with the customer and speaking with the customer care representative who handled the issue, I believe that our policies were upheld as they should have been. Our return policy is clearly stated on our website and it was followed.

Review: I ordered a bath and body set (shampoo, conditioner, lotion, 4 soaps, 2 lip balms, loofah), because I had received a trial set of their products while staying in a hotel, and loved them. However, after using the shampoo and conditioner for about a week, my hair became very dry and started falling out. After contacting customer service, I was told that these were not the same products that I had used during my hotel stay (they don't even sell those). I was told that I could return the products for a refund. I had to pay the shipping and handling to return them (most companies cover this expense when a customer is not satisfied with their products). After Gilchrist & Soames received the return, I was not credited the full purchase amount. When I questioned this, I was told that I was charged for the bar of soap (I had already used) and the loofah (tiny, cheap loofah that tore up the first time I used it, so I had thrown it away) that I didn't return. The out of pocket, return shipping cost plus the charge for the soap and loofah, totaled right at $20. I think it is ridiculous that the quality of these products was so terrible that I had to return them, and it cost me $20! The customer service I received (from [redacted]) regarding this matter was terrible!Desired Settlement: I would like to be refunded for the return shipping cost and the cost of the bar of soap and loofah. These products were expensive, and I had no option but to discontinue using them, because my hair was falling out! I returned every item from the set that I could.
