Gillman Mitsubishi San Antonio Reviews (16)

I had a verbal agreement with the salesman and finance manager to purchase a vehicle from Gillman Mitsubishi in Selma I provided the information to complete the paperwork and the salesman said that they would take the car off the lot to have it detailed and fill the gas tank for when I pick it up later that day I asked when the paperwork would be ready and the salesman said the finance guy was slammed and it would be a few hours I contacted them in a few hours with no response Later I get a message saying that the General Manager sold my vehicle to one of his personal friends that night When I asked about them doing my paperwork for me to sign they said they were too busy to do it (but I guess they weren't busy enough to complete the paperwork for the GM's friend) They then offered to sell me a hail damaged vehicle the same year, model, and mileage car for over $2,more than what I originally agreed on After selling my car they said they would make it up to me with a different deal, but they didn't make any real effort to match my previous deal My recommendation is to stay away from Gilman Motors and go to a dealership that doesn't do bait and switch

Beware of this dealership; they are unethical and dishonest when it comes to helping costumers They will recommend fixing problems that your car doesn’t have I went in there for a simple spark plug change and transmission flush and adding fluid to my transmission After an hour, they wanted to recommend me to pay for a gasket change because my spark plugs were drowned with oil I went back to the dealership to see the problem with my own eyes The mechanic showed me one of the spark plugs full of oil and I was a bit shocked due to how they added brand new motor oil on my old sparkplugsGuess what the only person who touches my motor oil is me and that oil did not belong to my car, since I haven’t change my oil for like 4,000+ miles, so the oil that suppose to be on those “drowned spark plugs” has to be as dark and old as my motor oil, not brand new I told them not to do the job because I caught them being unethical Trust me, the mechanic was very nervous while speaking to me and mentioned he did the job on at least other costumers, meaning that the other costumers got charged and probably they didn’t do a damn thing A week later, my car was failing and did not want to turn on I check the transmission fluid and there was none! The mechanic was so caught up trying to do unethical deals and basically forgot to the simple task of filling my car with transmission fluid The manager did not want to take responsibility with the damages done by his mechanic and was very rude to me Good thing I took a video of a certified mechanic checking my transmission and told me it was empty before taking it to the dealership Once the dealership decided to haul my car and I arrive later on to check on my car The manager told me the car was fine and there was oil in the transmission I was like really? So the transmission fluid magically appeared inside the vehicle and they wanted me to take the blame of the damages I told them about the video I took and after that, they got caught lying to me again The fix my car alright, but is not running like before It used to give me at least miles per tank, with that stunt they pulled and fixing my car, now I get miles per tank My car is not the sameThank you Mitsubishi dealership, I should have went with the lawsuit route next time, but I think it would be better for people to know about your unethical work and avoid this place at all costI will never buy a car from this dealership, nor company after this horrible experience

Tried on several occasions to contact customer to no avail We will waive the diagnostic fee, however, the customer needs to understand that if the failure is directly related to an "after market" product, factory warranty will not cover the damage, or if the vehicle is at its time or milage limit as per the factory warranty guidlinesDefinition of AFTERMARKET1: the market for parts and accessories used in the repair or enhancement of a product (as an automobile) that is not installed by the factory or has the factory endorsement In this circumstance, it sounds like the "factory" CD player is malfuctioning If that is the case, it should be covered by warranty as long as there was no electrical work done by a third party to the vehicle in questionwe will continue to try to contact the customer to resolve his issue.Regards, [redacted] General ManagerGillman Mitsubishi/Subaru [redacted] ***

Beware of this dealership; they are unethical and dishonest when it comes to helping costumers. They will recommend fixing problems that your car doesn’t have. I went in there for a simple spark plug change and transmission flush and adding fluid to my transmission. After an hour, they wanted to recommend me to pay for a gasket change because my spark plugs were drowned with oil. I went back to the dealership to see the problem with my own eyes. The mechanic showed me one of the spark plugs full of oil and I was a bit shocked due to how they added brand new motor oil on my old sparkplugs. Guess what… the only person who touches my motor oil is me and that oil did not belong to my car, since I haven’t change my oil for like 4,000+ miles, so the oil that suppose to be on those “drowned spark plugs” has to be as dark and old as my motor oil, not brand new. I told them not to do the job because I caught them being unethical. Trust me, the mechanic was very nervous while speaking to me and mentioned he did the job on at least 6 other costumers, meaning that the other 6 costumers got charged and probably they didn’t do a damn thing. A week later, my car was failing and did not want to turn on… I check the transmission fluid and there was none! The mechanic was so caught up trying to do unethical deals and basically forgot to the simple task of filling my car with transmission fluid. The manager did not want to take responsibility with the damages done by his mechanic and was very rude to me. Good thing I took a video of a certified mechanic checking my transmission and told me it was empty before taking it to the dealership. Once the dealership decided to haul my car and I arrive later on to check on my car. The manager told me the car was fine and there was oil in the transmission… I was like really? So the transmission fluid magically appeared inside the vehicle and they wanted me to take the blame of the damages. I told them about the video I took and after that, they got caught lying to me again. The fix my car alright, but is not running like before. It used to give me at least 300 miles per tank, with that stunt they pulled and fixing my car, now I get 240 miles per tank. My car is not the same. Thank you Mitsubishi dealership, I should have went with the lawsuit route next time, but I think it would be better for people to know about your unethical work and avoid this place at all cost. I will never buy a car from this dealership, nor company after this horrible experience.

I provided the information to complete the paperwork and the salesman said that they would take the car off the lot to have it detailed and fill the gas tank for when I pick it up later that day. I asked when the paperwork would be ready and the salesman said the finance guy was slammed and it would be a few hours. I contacted them in a few hours with no response. Later I get a message saying that the General Manager sold my vehicle to one of his personal friends that night. When I asked about them doing my paperwork for me to sign they said they were too busy to do it (but I guess they weren't busy enough to complete the paperwork for the GM's friend). They then offered to sell me a hail damaged vehicle the same year, model, and mileage car for over $2,500 more than what I originally agreed on. It was an oversite on our part. The salesperson and the manager of that dealership no longer work with the company. We will have copies Express mailed to the customer before close of business 06 Aug 2014. We apologize for the inconvenience.
