Mr***, after speaking with my wife, we believe the most prudent thing to do is to request an independent third party paid by Gilmore's Flooring to come and inspect the remodel and the area of concern where the leak persistedWe believe this would confirm if the installation was completed correctly, that no warranty has been voided, no further issues are likely and more importantly to ensure their is no exposure or potential exposure to mold. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. Regards, ** ***
Upon the site visit at Mr***'s I found no leak, as stated before, so therefore I have marked this case closed and I will not pay for a third party service
Gilmore floors were contracted to do a complete bathroom remodel in November Since there has been a water leak under the installed shower that ruined a ceiling tile in the basement area Owner Adam G*** was noticed of said issue, but could not identify the problem He sent a new employee (apparently the employees who installed the bathroom have voluntarily quit) The new employee tried a quick, minute fix that did not resolve the problem Gilmore was notified again and stated he would return; however, he has not done so or re-contacted me as to why he will not correct the issue I am trying to resolve the issue on my own, but I paid for a complete remodel without water leaks, periodLast contact was 2/27/
Friday March 10,2017To whom it may concern:I’d like to respond to the Revdex.com about a comptaint filed by a customerwho contracted my company for a full bathroom remodel. The complaining customer’s job was completed in October The customer wasquite happy with the remodel when we
finished, arid paid in full.I do remember the customer calling about a leak, and that I met the customer a coupledays later to determine the source of the problemTogether we pulled the access paneland a ceiling tile in the basement because the customer said the water that was leakingwas showing on the ceiling tileWe ran the water for about minutes and neither of ussaw a leak anywhere. After meeting with the customer, I sent an employee to apply 100% silicone around themixing valve, thinking that couki have possibly caused the issue.I have been a business owner for years, and this is the 1~ time a customer hascomplained to the Revdex.com about me
