When I received this complaint, I immediately reached out to our seller, [redacted] to address her concerns.She told me that she was going to contact you and rescind her complaint based on the fact that she was just anxious to sell and frustrated, so she was putting the blame on ReMaxAs I explained to her, we have advertised her property vigorously but the price was too high (at her request) We held an open house, a sign was placed in her yard, we marketed her listing on Zillow, Trulia, Realtor.com, the Multi-List, our personal website, and many other additional websitesWhat she lost sight of in her frustration, is that her home is a short saleShe owes more than the house is worth In the beginning of our listing, she wanted to try and sell for higher than we recommended so that she could get out from under her mortgages owed on it, and so we did, with the understanding that sometimes that can adversely effect selling it once we reduce the price We have recently lowered the price, per our suggestion, however, it is days before Christmas, and again, it is a short saleShort sales can take extensive periods of time to sell because they are convoluted and involve getting acceptance from the bank, which sometimes takes months to accomplishI believe [redacted] now understands better where things standAnd, as far as Gina being available or not, this listing was assigned to me, Pamela M***, to handle and I have done so promptly [redacted] is able to reach meOn the occasion that she had to leave a voicemail message, she received a call back from me within hours of me receiving her messageOur duty to our seller is to market their home, assist in pricing their home to sell, and sell at the highest price possible in the shortest amount of time possibleThat is both our duty and our goalUnfortunately, as I mentioned, short sales are their own productWe will continue to make every effort to sell [redacted] home and will continue to keep in touch with her as new activity occurs.KindlyPamela M***###-###-#### Gina G [redacted] Team Re/Max Select Realty###-###-####
