[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: My wife and I are 100% certain that we took the dress blue coat to Gina's and that we received it back from Gina's in unusable conditionIt is unfortunate that I no longer have the red tag that was attached to the garment when it came back from wherever Gina shipped it off to for cleaning, but it is quite clear what happened: The coat was washed instead of dry-cleaned somewhere along the way and this ruined itUp until this occasion I was pleasantly NOT in the habit of trying on everything that I got back form the dry-cleaner at the store (especially something as difficult to put on a Marine Corps Dress Blue Coat, but unfortunately now I will have to do so because my trust has been violatedI suppose in this case we will have to agree to disagree, but this much is clear to me: I will never go to Gina's again, nor will I recommend her services to any of my many Marines and Sailors Sincerely Capt [redacted] , USMC

Thank you for notifying us of the complaint sent to your organizationWe strive to provide all of our customers with the best possible serviceMy company provides three primary services to our customers: clothing alterations, dry cleaning, and laundryI personally complete all clothing
alterations myselfThe dry cleaning and laundry are contracted out to another companyTo ensure quality control, all clothes sent out for dry cleaning and Haundry are tagged with a number unique to their orderEach order Is documented and tracked in a log bookWhen the clothing is received back from my contractor, each individual piece of clothing is personally inspected by me to ensure that all stains are removed (if possible), it's properly pressed, and that there are no other issuesIf there are any issues I send it back to my contractor to be re-worked.I have over years of experience in this line of workA significant portion of my customers are from the rmilitary and I am very accustomed to handling their various uniformsUnfortunately, English is not my first language and the complainant may have misunderstood me on several pointsAs mentioned above, I don't perform the dry cleaning in my store, I contract it outAlso, both me and my contractor would know better than to wash a wool uniformI can't imagine any company in my line of work making that mistakeHowever, Even if my contractor would have made it, I certainly would have noticed it since individually inspect every piece of clothing before It is returned to a customerAs I understand it, the complaint is that a dress coat was left at my store on September 25, 2014, for dry cleaning and was returned damaged, presumably washedOn two occasions in the past several months, the cornplainant did bring in a pair of pants and a shirt for dry cleaningHe never left a dress coat or a jacket of any kindI have attached copies of the original orders/receipts clearly indicating that he only had a pair of parts and a shirt cleanedThese receipts indicated that the clothes were paid for and picked up on September 15, 2014, and November 7, 2014, These receipts also match back to my log bookI don't have a record of him picking up any clothes in early October of I can’t account for what happened to the Complainant's dress Coat since I never had it in my possessionSince by his own admission it had been awhile since he had looked at it and it had no paperwork on it, he may had been confused about when, where and if the dress coat had been recently professionally dry cleanedRegardless, he did not leave his dress coast at Gina's Alteration Center to be dry cleanedThank you again for bringing this matter to my attention, Please set me know if you need any additional informationSincerely,Gina Rhodes C***

This is a follow up to the letter sent on January 9, 2015, regarding a damaged jacketNo additional information or supporting documentation was provided to us in that letterAs indicated in our previous letter, we have thoroughly checked our records and while the complainant has had pants and shirts dry cleaned with us, his has never brought a jacket to us for cleaningWithout any physical support from the compliant proving otherwise (i.e., a receipt), we are unable to validate his claim or make any restitution.Thank you again for bringing this matter to my attentionPlease let me know if you need any additional informationSincerely,Gina Rhodes C***
