Ginnie O's Dog and Cat Grooming

this was our second experience with Ginnie O's. they came recommended by personal friends. Sadly on their first time they cut my smallest poodle. the bleeding was pretty bad but we didn't have to take her to the vet. after that we stopped using their services and went to [redacted] on Garland who in my opinion is the absolute best Spokane, Wa. has to offer. sadly they are completely booked until after Christmas so we decided to give Ginnie O's a second chance. Sadly this resulted in injury to our pug. Toe nails can be difficult, we understand that. We have been taking our pets to groomers for more than ten years and no one has ever cut our dogs nails short enough to bleed, a lot of bleeding. Not only did they not call and tell us, they waited to tell us until after we paid, and somehow neglected to tell us they cut two nails, one on the front and one on the hind legs to short. The front nail had stopped bleeding at pick up, so we only noticed the one paw bleeding before we left. The front paw was noticed 20 minutes later after it opened and started bleeding again. I was told they have no policy if I had to take him to the vet. The owner, just made excuses and was not pleasant to speak with. The groomer at least apologized, however, her lack of honesty about cutting two nails on two feet is disturbing. Sadly, I would not recommend anyone taking their dog or cat to them to be groomed. The cost of the service was 80 dollars, for the two dogs.
