*** Auto Sales has been a long standing customer of over twenty years through two ownershipBecause of this, we warrantied said transmission sight unseen within the warranty periodThe warranty period was up October 8, with the original transactionWe have no idea what
*** Auto Sales offers as a warranty and why Mr*** chose to bypass *** Auto SalesThe end consumer called direct after that period was ended, we assume because Griffin Auto Sales gave them our nameWe then went through the original warranty and found questionable defects which repaired to a cost of over $Since this was just a repair, the transmission was offered to Mr*** at cost and no warranty
Since then, the original transmission has gone through the rebuilding process and sold to another customer with no complaintTherefore, we will no longer offer that $repair job quoted on November 15,So in conclusion, he will have to pay full price for another transmission with our standard warranty
We have been in business for over years and stamp a serial number into the casting on every transmission to guard against fraudAll of our customers remain faithful because of our honesty, but like every business, people try to take advantage of usWe feel this is one of those situationsWe prefer to sever ties completely with this individual
