Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my dispute.
Please enter your reason(s) for rejecting the business response below. When I asked [redacted] at the shop he informed me that he did not know what exactly was damaged but he thought it was my control arm. How could you say what was damaged for sure if you did not fully inspect it? I do not think it is fair that I was charged full price of $150 for the best you could do.  He should have alerted me to the "damage" before he completed the alignment.  I called him and asked him could I bring it back and he informed me there was nothing he could do but I can bring it back if I want.  My control arms are in perfect shape as per my mechanic. For [redacted] to say that they were damaged when he did not fully inspect it to see that is not right.  To check if there is damage to a control arm all you have to do is see if there is movement in it.  So it would have been a simple check.  But if you look at texts message that I attached to this complaint he was not sure exactly was damaged and when I stated that to him he did not even respond. I still request at least a partial refund for a partial alignment.  As [redacted] said he did the best he could do which was not good enough and he did not alert me to it until after he was done just so he could take my money.  If [redacted] is an honest, trustworthy, mechanic with integrity he should at least give me back half of my money as he could not align it well enough because  "he did the best he could".
Regards,

Revdex.comMESSAGE FROM BUSINESS:The customer was informed that the vehicle would not go into spec as soon as wefound out. There is no way to tell the customer if they are out of adjustment withoutpulling the car onto the machine, calibrating the machine and then adjusting the suspension. The customer states that we did not do a full alignment but the only   way to know the car is out of adjustment would be to adjust all parts of the alignment. We offered to diagnose the issue as well as replace any parts that would need it however we will not offer that service for free. We recommended the control arm as a starting point based on the difference in camber and toe measurements. The control arm can be damaged without having any play in the bushing. It can be twisted or bent. Inspection of the control arm was a starting point, we never said that it was the problem. We are willing to work with the customer and realign the car at no charge if he replaces the damaged parts or has us replace them. It is impossible for us to align the car any differently than what we have as the adjustments the vehicle offers have been used to their full potential. We do not feel that a refund is necessary as we still did the work. The BMW dealership and our staff were unable to adjust the vehicle to manufacture specifications. Both shops have the knowledge, equipment, and experience to do the job correctly. The vehicle is theonly unknown in the situation.
