I am rejecting this response because: There is falsified statements in the company's response. There was no question at any point during any of the conversations whether or not the necklace was there's. The necklace is there's. That is a fact. Yes, per my statement, a store credit was offered, but I was charged $100 for that necklace and the offered store credit was for $50. Why would you offer me store credit if it wasn't yours ? And why wasn't that said to me when I was there ? Not only is that non-ethical, it's also illegal to falsify pricing of an item. In addition, yes, the necklace had become tangled in transit just as it did immediately after the purchase on my way back home. This, in case the business cares, is why the gift needed to be returned; something I was never asked upon attempting to return it. I was able to untangle it gently before traveling back to the business, but clearly it gets tangled easy as it had become tangled again. If the business wishes, I will ensure it is untangled when I bring it back this time. Lastly, please note, the business's response did not dispute any of my statements aside from the placement of their return policy, which as I stated, I did not see posted when I went in. Has anybody reviewed surveillance ? I will make this clear: Please issue a full return for this defective necklace, plus compensation for the wasted round-trip ticket I purchased that day when I attempted to make the return, as well as compensation for the round-trip bus ticket I will not have to spend to get back to the business's establishment. This has caused emotional distress.

Review: I chose a silver pendant (located in a showcase located by the register) which had a price tag of $95.00. The associate recommended I add-on a silver chain to go with the pendant. Impulsively, I agreed. She took one out of a showcase on the wall and said it was $100, although I did not see the price tag. She packaged them up together nicely and wrote out the invoice, but did not itemize them as two items, and they were not listed on the credit receipt either. She listed it as one item for $195, plus tax which brought it up to $208.65. I made a special trip back to Freehold, NJ to return the silver chain ($33 round trip). It had been in my possession for less than a week. (6 days). As I entered the store, I looked around, the return policy was not visible anywhere in the store. Associate offered me a $50 refund for the silver chain, but I reminded her that she charged me $100. She replied, "you can speak to my manager," and stormed away. Manager came out, looked at the invoice and asked me where the pendant was. I told him it was in NY. He then said he needed to see it. I asked him 'why' because I wasn't returning the pendant! I was returning the necklace. He said the invoice only had one item on it in the amount of $195 and that he needed to see the "rest of the order" because "we sell our necklaces at $50." I fired back with, "I didn't pay $50 for this, I paid $100 for this." I then detailed my purchase again very clearly with both people so there was a clear understanding and associate agreed. He then offered the store credit, which I declined demanding my money back, as I looked around and did not see the Return Policy posted anywhere in the store. The associate then got rude with me as she picked up the invoice, pointed to the return policy, and pushed it a bit close to my face. I asked her not to be rude with me as her manager asked her to walk away. All I want is a $100 Credit Card return for the silver necklace, and to be comp'd for two round-trip bus ticketsDesired Settlement: As soon as possible.
