First things first. She said proof of insurance was not needed she would take my word for it. She was the one who chose to pay cash I gave her two payment options she took the cheaper. she told us to not return to finish the job and didn't give us the chance to. There is 1276 dollars in material on...

her patio and one little section just needed to be antiqued and sealed that she asked us to redo (at our own cost). I never once threatened to tear it out or damage property I simply stated that if she wanted a full refund then we would have to come tear out the patio and steps. Getting a full refund and keeping the patio has never been an option. She did the same thing with slyck landscaping and never finished paying the balance she owed them for her landscape. I offered several times full refund for that as well as taking care of the damage but the patio would come out. The thincrete stamp overlay material is not cheap and she would not be able to keep that patio and have someone antique the one spot and seal it for 200 dollars and then she has a 2500$ patio for only 200 dollars with her full refund already. I offered to finish the job and take money off the balance for the VERY minimal damage to the bottom J channel on her siding. She chose to not let us finish nor refund her money and tear it out. I'm pretty sure she planned on doing this from the start but I have no need to respond any further as we have already given the papers to our lawyer and are pursuing a case for slander as she has went above and beyond without trying to contact us. I gave her many different options for partial to full refund or finishing the job and she said we were not allowed to step foot on the property so we followed her wishes. There was not much else I could do and between the man hours and the material we are well above the 1600 or even the 1800$ she is suing for and the patio we did is still there and steps as well. She has been very mean, degrading, and belittling and thinks that she can bully her way to a free patio and that is not how we operate. We have thousands of references that have never had a complaint and we have been around for 25+ years and not once had a complaint through the Revdex.com. The same deal stands we will refund fully if we tear the whole thing out. That is how the world works.
