Giovanni's Pizza II

Review: my daughter always buys a veggie pizza from here she loves it . last night 8-22 she took 1 piece ate a few bites and said it just did not taste right she kept picking at it and then threw away the mangled piece less than half an hour later she had dirreah, her brother also took one bite and said something taste off. today I called spoke with the son and he said bring the rest of the pie back all but I slice I will give you money back I drive down there with pizza and his dad is there he says he wnts the whole pizza not what I gave him and he start cursing at me in italian and I tell him I know he is cursing at me his son tells him to stop and just give me my money again he starts ranting in italian I tell him I too am a business owner and I just want to be given a refund, he goes on to call me a piece of **-- for eating the pizza and then complaining I said I piece he just kept on screaming at me and cursing and then I told him I was calling the health board because they are doing alot of work on the building and that could have something to do with foul taste. I did call the health board I had to leave message but I am saving the pizza to give them ., I think the reason I am so mad is they told me to come back for a refund and then attacked me verbally by cursing in italian this is no way to run a business and they would have returned the money ,and the next time my daughter wants pizza she would have went here she loves it something was really wrong with it for her not to have eaten it.Desired Settlement: I want this to be used to show them you can not treat people like trash and speak to them like that I am highly upset I have never been spoken to like that from a business usally they try and satisfy you not this stuborn old man and obviosly his parents never told him to speak to a lady or anyone for that matter that way.

Thursday, August 22, 2013 around 8 PM a repeat customer called and ordered a Medium Vegetarian Pizza. She always orders the same thing except this time she added extra cheese and black olives. She had always been a fan of the veggie pizza and this time when she picked up the pizza she was surprised about the price. We then explained to her that we charge extra for the extra toppings. Then, on Friday morning, August 23, 2013 she called and complained that the pizza didn’t taste right. We had sold the same type of pizza with the same toppings (minus the black olives) 5 other times that same day and no one else had complained about the taste, so she may have not been used to the taste of the black olives on the pizza. I had not been there Friday morning because I was in the hospital so when she called I did not take the call. They told her to bring back the pizza and they would either remake it or refund her money. When she brought the pizza in 2 Vz slices were missing. (There are 6 slices in our medium pizza) When my husband saw there was almost half the pizza missing (when she claimed they had only taken a bite each) he said he would either remake the whole thing for her or only refund half the amount. She kept insisting she wanted a full refund. My husband is usually a happy person and he would not talk to a woman that way. He said, “His pizza is not [redacted]” not that “she is a piece of [redacted]” He has an accent and does not speak English that well, and he is a loud person so I see how he could come off as rude but he really is a pleasant person. We have been in business for over 40 years and this is the first complaint we have received. If she had called the same night (Thursday, August 22, 2013) a full refund would have been given but since she waited until the next day (Friday, August 23, 2013) we tried working with her but she kept insisting on a full refund for only half a pizza. If the pizza were truly as bad as she claims they would not have eaten half of it and they would have called right away.
