We took our truck in for an inspection with a coupon and ended up paying 85.00. Went to leave the premises and truck would start they said we needed a fuel pump.
After spending $856 . We just filled our truck with again the way there. When we got it back we had gallon left in the truck we lost $60 worth of gas. They gave us a loaner to get home and before we return the beater loaner we were to put gas in the car. We feel taken advantage of and out of a lot of money. We are senior citizens and want to be treated fairly which we were not. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Review: This is a mechanic I have trusted and have had thousands of dollars of work done with, now I'm not so sure my trust wasn't misplaced. I had heard a snap in front of the steering while on a trip, and my breaks were riding squishy after that. So upon my return home I took it to Gipes services. I had also requested they install a serpentine belt I had bought. They called and told me I needed new rotors, new brake pads, two new calipers, a mass air flow sensor, and rear drive shaft bearings. The original quote was for over 1800, but they always add more upon finishing a job. On visiting the garage, I asked for a quote on simply one caliper and break pad, I was quoted 800$. What is worse, is that the vehicle did not need new Rotors, the rotors are measured to practically brand new rotors and the surface is perfectly smooth. I was outright lied too! Too add further insult to injury, I tested the breaks to find out that the rear breaks were not working and there was a sound from the Break Master Cylinder that indicates a malfunction there. They never even mentioned the break master cylinder, did they intend to hit me with services I didn't need at three times or more the going rate first? I am so disappointed and saddened, I recommended this garage to friends, I feel like a fool. When I asked for an estimate on paper, they wouldn't even put labor charges and the parts charges suddenly became reasonable. If you are a non-business auto repair consumer, DON'T GO TO THIS SHOP!! I was lied to and severely overcharged. They charged me 175$ just for driving it and taking the wheels of, maybe running a diagnostic. I don't know because my trust in them is broken.Desired Settlement: I'd like 75$ back on the recent diagnostic, to help defray the expense of getting services elsewhere. It seems like a very small thing to ask, all things considering. This business has raided my wallet for a total of several thousand dollars so I don't fell bad asking for this small a refund.

Review: They quoted a price for Monroe rear shocks, $65.80 ea. Two days later when I got the bill the price of the shocks increased to $75.80 ea. I could get no explanation foe the increase. Both prices are above the MSRP. The price of the shocks did not go up from the distributor.Desired Settlement: I believe they should refund the $20.00 differance
