I genuinely understand that this is a business with people trying to put food on the table so I won't file an actual complaint but at this time only a review
On 23SEP16, there was an incident where I was refused a return on a 25$ purchase of itemsI had purchased using a credit card days before and I had my receiptStore policy did not state anything regarding return policy with regards to having used a credit cardIt only stated a restriction on cash purchase specifically as stated
They consulted a higher up by phone and were told a credit card return policy not made visible or communicated in any way to the customerOn that basis they persisted in refusing to process a returnThe receipt did not say anything either about return policy
By law, this is illegal as stated for Massachusetts State Law:
"A seller's refund, return, or cancellation policy must be disclosed to the buyer clearly and conspicuously before the transaction is completedThis is usually done by means of a sign at the point of purchaseGoods may be returned within a reasonable period of time if no return policy was disclosed."
I could technically sue the store at this point and receive a lot of compensation
As a customer, I was deceived in broad daylightThey were caught red handed but stayed adamantAs a result I am writing this review so they cannot continue such deceptive business practices in the future
They should think about thanking me and apologizing to me for not suing themI've been ripped off 25$ and it still stings to this day
