reimbursement request. However, based on pictures provided by the claimant, we are aware that he still has in his possession the subject tires which are part of our voluntary recall campaign. Subsequently, we will ask the customer to visit a local Firestone dealer and request the replacement of the tires by presenting the Recall Notification letter.   GITI is a serious and responsive organization, but any transaction process must comply with standard business practices. I am rejecting this response because:
I want my refund for the original purchase price of $208.44 dollars because I do have the invoice from firestone showing proof of purchase of the GTI products. I will send photos and highlight the above amount listed if necessary .I did send GTI A copy but they complained the printed invoice was not legible due to poor ink printing and the photo copyier . But My copy does have legible print and numbers are faint but clearly legible as 208.44 across from the heading Primewell tire package at least showing valid proof from fire stone that I did in fact purchase the above mentioned recalled Prime well Valera touring BL205/50R17 93v tires. honestly the tires are only photographed as evidence to support my claim and have been disposed of and unfortunately I am in no position to meet any more demands from GTI to collect evidence and submit documents due to poor circumstances. I no longer have the car that I put the tires on. I have been left unable to work due to not having transportation and nearly homeless.I tried to explain my unique situation to GTI customer service refund department and settle the matter as fast as possible to close the case To get funds to travel and continue a job search. but was meet with disbelief and no concern for my hardship and struggle. So honestly at this point I do have the copy of my original invoice and would only accept a full refund of the purchase price listed on my receipt of 208.44 so I can use the funds to go to work and forget about this stressful experience and back on my feet.
