Review: I am disputing a dental bill because I agreed to have dental work done based on the fact that I was told I would not have to pay out of pocket for it. The office manager and dentist confirmed with me five times that I would not have to pay out of pocket for the procedure because my dental coverage and my husband's dental coverage would pay for the entire procedure. A few months later after the procedure they called and said they made a mistake and that it was not covered in full by our insurance and I would have to pay out of pocket $773. On a voice mail which I still have the office manager apologized for their error and stated that she knew I accepted the procedure based on being covered, yet I was still responsible to pay for it.Desired Settlement: To not be billed for the services I was told I would not be billed for.

Dear Revdex.com (Northeast California),

I would like to update complaint ID 9898100. I was notified that the case was closed because the business, Giving Smiles, did not respond to the Revdex.com. I am sending this e-mail to update the Revdex.com because Giving Smiles did respond to me by phone and e-mail. They were unable to contact my husband and I by phone, so they e-mailed me on 2/13/2014 and suggested we pay half of the bill to settle the dispute. In response, we e-mailed them on 2/19/2014 and told them that we did not believe this was a fair settlement because we were originally told we would not have to pay anything. We have not heard anything from Giving Smiles since 2/19/2014 (no voice-mails, calls, or e-mails). They never responded to our e-mail.
