In response to the complaint made by [redacted] , Our procedures and code of conduct are the same for everyone during this season We are competitively priced and also we do have insuranceWhen a customer calls we Google their house to see the layoutWe give a phone quote for a certain amount as to not be running all over for just estimates [redacted] called late morning and had other people there for estimates when we arrivedWhen we are on the phone with customers that have a ranch, we tell them $800-$per side for up and overs depending on the ice and snow amountEveryone is differentIt is usually about $to $square foot for snow and ice remediation and normally it is just heated spaceNo garagesSixty percent of our business is from people who have had leaks and had someone else there before us to do the work and the other companies came over and made channels in the ice dam and took off a little snowWe at Top to Bottom remove all snow, break up the ice, clear ice dams and yes we use calcium chloride for the drip edge and guttersCalcium chloride is the only thing you can use on roofs that is approved by all asphalt roof manufacturesWe have used this successfully for over yearsPlus once the snow is down we use blowers to blow off the remanding snow the best we canThen we move all the snow away from the front/garage doorsWe always come back as a courtesyI told [redacted] Monday or Tuesday we would be back to check and do touch upsWe accidently left two shovels there because it was dark when we leftWe do a second application of the calcium chloride and we always guarantee to stop the leaks We do offer credits back for new roofs and repairs as a coupon for more workI did return two phone calls to Lynn at Safe Co insurance with the claim number [redacted] I would have loved to speak with her but she did not return my callsShe was also left a voice mail by my office and hasn’t returned any calls from Top to Bottom

Revdex.com spoke with the business today and John stated the following:There were men there and we were there for hours We were there on Friday night and we had planned on returning on Monday The customer became angry with us over the weekend She contacted us Monday morning and left a message and stated that she did not want us to come back She called her insurance company, and then called again and said that her insurance company told her not to let us come back She was upset that the calcium chloride was going to kill her grassWe did remove all of the snow and ice from the roof We actually had left a few shovels behind because we planned on returning on Monday Once all of the ice and snow is removed, we then have to insure that the doorways are clear and any furnace vents were clear at ground level and driveways, etcwhich involves snowblowing and manually shoveling.Her roof appeared to have multiple layers and inadequate ice shield and we believed that a new roof was necessary in the future and she was offered $1,off the cost of a new roof if we were hired to put it on
Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Regards, [redacted] John Geer stated that he is an inspector for the Better Contractor's Bureau I have since learned that there is no such position Prior to coming to my home, he gave me an estimate of around $ Based on that, I rejected another contractor's estimate of around $ MrGeer stated that his price is competitive He cited the prices of a contractor by the name of *** I have since learned that ***'s rate is $per hour Since John Geer's crew was here for approximately hour, his price is clearly not competitive MrGeer is misrepresenting himself and providing completely erroneous estimates over the phone His business practices are unethical and the public should be protected from contractors such as he The other contractors who are currently doing remodeling work on my home are especially upset by his practices because they feel that he tarnishes the reputation of all contractors and makes it especially difficult for them to do business They are feeding me some of the data that I cite in my complaint The Revdex.com is remiss if they do not take action to protect the public from this man's conduct
