Good afternoon ***, to reply specifically to the complaint we would need to know the ticket number of his requestIf he wants to provide that I will be happy to provide more specific details as to this particular request

Dear Revdex.com, GKG .NET follows the same transfer process every other registrar follows by contract. Domains that are not renewed are deleted after as much as a day grace period but no days are guaranteed after the domain expiresAnd any domain transfer is initiated at what we call the
gaining registrar and the loosing registrar has no ability to impede the process unless there is a dispute on the domain or there is a reason for the domain to be locked. And even if a domain is expired the transfer can still take place In this particular case, the domain *** expired on April 7th of this yearMr*** not only did not renew the domain, we renewed it for him for an additional days after it expired. We do this so that if the customer, contrary to their contractual agreements, has not updated their contact info, they will notice the domain is down and will inquire as to whyThat way they can avoid losing a domain for not renewing it on time IF they don’t inquire we assume they do not want the domain any more and we delete it Mr*** was sent notices starting at days prior to expiration to let him know the domain was expiringPrior to that time Mr*** had removed the transfer lock so the domain was free to be transferred at is direction. I am including the certified domain record to show that the domain was taken off of transfer lock and that we never received a transfer request at any time after that action. You will also note the number of times he was notified as to the domain expiring, and lastly you can see that the domain expired but was still held for days after that at our own expenseYou see we have to front the money for the domain upon expiration if we do not delete it immediately, if we want the customer to have a chance to renew the domain after it expires Contrary to Mr*** claim, we never even received notice of the domain being transferred outWe had no way to know Mr*** was attempting to transfer his domain since we never received a notice via the registry that a transfer was being initiatedWhy that is falls on the shoulders of the registrar through which he was trying to transferWe are completely out of the loop in that entire cycle Once a domain is deleted it goes to the registryThe registry sets the redemption period and the redemption priceSome registrars tack on quite a bit more for the effort of redeeming a domainWe however leave it at $since we want to see our customers get their domains back, no matter what the inconvenience to usGodaddy charges $160, or at least they did recently. Godaddy also charges you a redemption fee as soon as the domain expires and not upon deletion, we do notIf Mr*** had logged into our system and renewed his domain after it expired but before it was deleted, it would have cost him the regular amount of about $11, even after it expiredBut once it is deleted it is out of our hands So while we feel for Mr***, the redemption cost he will have to pay is dictated by the registry and not by us Mr*** has options. 1) He can pay the redemption fee and get his domain back 100% guaranteed, or 2) wait until the domain is released back into the free domain space and hope he gets it backHis odds are less than 30% t get his domain if it is a good name or if it had any amount of traffic associated with it. IF he had no traffic and not many visitors, then his odds are about 50% If Mr*** would like to understand more about the process, he can always call our offices and speak to me directlyAll he has to do is askRegards, *** *** *** ***

Good morning *** ticket number is a complaint on a customer who this gentleman claims has illegally published his personal contact information and he has asked us to unmask him or to take his domain downThis activity is not illegal and we have explained to him on separate occasions in this particular ticket that this is not sufficient to take down a domain or to take a way a proxy serviceHe ether has to provide proof of illegal activity, he can take it up with a local court to get a court order, or he can contact the hosting company to see if he can convince them to take down the serviceThose are his options which we have explained to him many times in this ticket. Ticket number is about the same topicOn multiple new occasions we have given him his optionsHe is again asking for us to remove a domain from use because he doesn't like his personal information on the website which is not hosted with us. This is not illegal activity and there is nothing we can do to help him. We have explained this to him again in this ticket on or more occasions. Ticket number has the same topicagain, on or more new occasions we have explained to him again that there is nothing we can do just because this person has his personal phone number and address on the site. We have explained this to him on almost occasions in total. Our position is this: 1) we will only remove a proxy service or a domain from service if it is being used for provable illegal activity, or it is being used for morally objectionable activitiesFor example, if the site was hosting child pornography, we would justify that as a reason to take it downNot only has this gentleman provided no such proof, his claim is only that the customer is showing his personal contact information and it bothers him because he is getting calls early in the morningThis is not illegal activity and there is nothing really morally objectionable. It might be rude, it might be a pain, but he can easily change his phone numberHE has provided us with no reason to help him remove this domainWe have explained to him his options: 1) provide proof the domain is being used for illegal activity, 2) go to a court with jurisdiction, and get a court order to have it removed, or 3) contact the hosting company. We have explained to him on or more occasions, politely and respectfully, why we can not act and what he needs to do if he wants us to actYet he continues to send in emails. This complaint is just more harassment form this gentleman trying to get us to do his bidding, for which he is not willing to spend any of his own money Thanks, *** ***

I am rejecting this response because:1. Will GKG pay for the new Phone Number?2. GKG is based in Texas so this Company need follow the Texas Data Protection Law. From this law its illegal to publish Personal Data. Even the Data Protection Directive from the USA show this as illegal Action.
