I am rejecting this response because:Unclear reference to 1/2 things on list not being in contract.  Plans are referenced in GL Contracting bid.  First line of the contract states - "alter existing structure and remodel/build second structure according to plans.......much of this is punch work for poor workmanship.   GL Contracting was paid in full, but didn't finish the job.Main house Floor in pantry area still needs to match (poor workmanship) PICTURE ATTACHED  Need key to rear door of main house (not provided to us, now will need to hire a locksmith)Finish outside access door (reference plan A-3 – “repair & paint existing  door – install threshold and weather stripping Replace warped door in bathroom (promised, poor workmanship)Adjust rear door Pocket door to laundry doesn't line up (poor workmanship) PICTURE ATTACHED 0778  Repair/replace screens per plans (reference plans page A-3 repair and replace existing windows and screens-paint to match.”  Screen were painted with one coat of paint, but not repaired or installed)Repair/redo concrete finish & expansion joints (poor workmanship) Guest house Shelves in cupboards (assumed cupboard would come with shelves, it was on front house) Install drawer/cupboard hardware (assumed hardware would be installed, it was on front house Door adjustments both front & back (assumed doors would be correctly aligned) Trim at kitchen counter (poor workmanship) photo attached Paint in bathroom/touch up   Interior right side of front door tape & floating shows (poor workmanship)Door bottom pantry needs sanding/repainting (poor workmanship Repair/replace basement windows per plans (reference page A-4 of plans “repair/replace basement windows) Stairwell railing per plans & required by city (reference A-2 plans “install new wood stairs and railing”) general paint touch up Basement not complete - door paint etc general paint touch up

GL Contracting LLC has only received 168,656.00 to date. So the project amount is incorrect. Customer provided upgrades and/or customer paid and provided subs are not part of GL Contracting LLCs Project price. Our legal council will contact Revdex.com and [redacted] over all incorrect information and...

validity in this complaint.  The project was bid on customer provided plans which were inadequate with no finish schedules, site elevations, or no actual plot and/or field measurements. The customer asked for the most "economic" bid and then began to make multiple and multiple modifications and/or requests for custom finishes. Half of the list provided in this complaint is not on our proposal and more than half of the project was customized and modified by the customer which doesn't even reflect our proposal, change orders, or the "per plans" as the customer states. If we need to back charge for all work completed that is not on the proposal or on the plans to resolve this complaint we will to show that GL Contracting LLC has closed this project with a negative number exceeding the customers claim.

I am rejecting this response because: response in italicsNot on plans or on proposal:Tax on laminate flooring, customers credit did not reflect this. Send the invoice and we are happy to deduct tax from amount owed us for allowance - actual lower than allowance in contract. All custom cabinets to be draw bases 2500.00 - Interestingly original amount was $1500 and is now $2500??   This was part of original proposal and agreed so by both parties on 9/25Recessed lighting in 3 bedrooms - canned lights throughout was stated in original contract and agreed by both parties on 9/252100.00Moving basement door to bottom of staircase not per plans, using Stain grade material to finish all trends and staining trends, building new walls for bottom of stair case 3000.00 - contractors contract states all change orders are to be in writing.  When change was discussed there was not discussion of any additional cost. Due to the customer [redacted] denying her verbal request prior to the proposal for the basement of the second structure to be left alone due to concerns of cost and exactly what that space will be used for, we will have to seek payment for all additional work completed at the property and verbally requested by the customer that does not reflect our proposal or said plans. Now we are going based upon plans and GLContractingLLCs contract. This is a short list of what is owed and we will get a third-party verifier to inspect all pictures of completed work that was not paid. Final invoice will be sent certified mail and Lien will be placed on the property. Not on plans or on proposal:Tax on laminate flooring, customers credit did not reflect this. All custom cabinets to be draw bases 2500.00 Recessed lighting in 3 bedrooms2100.00Moving basement door to bottom of staircase not per plans, using Stain grade material to finish all trends and staining trends, building new walls for bottom of stair case 3000.00More to follow
