I am very much aware of compliance rule and lawsGLA employees do not have the authority to discuss spouses collection information with the other spouse without verbal or written approval from the other spouseThe debt was not a joint debt, therefore the debt in question was a debt that pertained to the other spouseI was not aware that all spouses have the opportunity to call GLA and find out what and who their spouse owes money to. If GLA operational policy and procedures support this type of service, than I will be sure to inform the publicMy spouse called for their own debt not mine. Therefor verification to verify if the person on the phone was the spouse was not required. Debt collection should only be revealed to the person whom is in collectionIf GLA feels that they are correct in initiating this service, than the debt needs to be in both spouses name regardless of who actually inquired the debt. Further communication will be pursued with, *** *** *** *** *** ** *** *** * *** *** ***

GLA and its representatives used their best judgement in disclosing the information It was determined that the individual (as the spouse) had consent to discuss any and all financial matters relating to her or her spouse
GLA has standard
practices, procedures and training it provides to its employees with respect to all state and federal laws We will review the incident and determine what action should be taken

They have never received written nor verbal permission from me to speak with my spouse. I am requesting that they provide a singed designation of representation form that I filled out or a copy of a recorded phone call where I gave verbal permissionI never have given them or any other business company to speak to my spouse about my credit historyAgain they are in direct violation of my HIPPA rightsFurther pursuit of my right to privacy will go forward

GLA and its employees used their professional judgement to determine that the spouse had consent to communicate regarding the account(s) in question. His/Her identity was confirmed as the spouse.  GLA sees no HIPPA violation in this instance.

GLA understands that there my have been some communication problems with the provider and the insurance company.  We have located 3 accounts and have requested their removal from all of the credit bureaus we report to.

GLA can see no history of a conversation with a GLA employee in regards to this account.  The account in question was paid directly to our client,  we will gladly remove the trade line from Mrs. [redacted] credit bureau.  Please allow time for the...

removal to be processed.  It may take only a few days or we may have to report through our normal process on the 15th of the month.

 I would like a letter in writing from the co.stating they are removing all of these from my credit report. Next the companies have all of my information. My military insurance is my social security number which all of them have already. We have turned in and filled out paperwork numerous times with each of these companies over the last few years. We have done everything but turn the claims in our-self's , of course that is not something we can do. I am not being rude but like I said we have already done this 20 plus times with each co. This is their job, this is what they get paid for. I should not have to do all of this again after I have done it so many times already and on top of they have all the correct information sitting right in front of them !
