Management is indifferent to tenantsMaintenance is horribleOffice staff is either unknowledgeable or unwlling to answer questionsOffice is open wheneverThey keep no regular hours, closing when they pleasePlumbing and electric are old and hazardous in many buildings.New rules are always being given to tenants and charges to tenants are excessiveNo smoking in the buildings, courtyards, ouside of the buildings and a notices to tenants that tobacco in your possession constitutes violating the no smoking policy with a first offense of $as a fineNo barbeque grill, not even in storage, tenants were given days notice to remove them or they would be removedNo sitting on back porches as that constitues "congregating"Micro managed in the worse possible way with no respect for the tenants

I have rented from GLA twice I wholeheartedly recommend GLA to anyone The properties are very well maintained by a responsive, friendly staff The common areas and sidewalks are always kept free of dirt, leaves and snowI had problems with my boiler twice The repairs were made immediately The back of the building (177) is a well lit and inviting patio GLA is constantly updating and improving their properties They are invested in the property, the neighborhood and the tenants, and it shows

GLA has brought a vintage building into the 21st century while maintaining the charm of old world. The management and maintenance teams are action-oriented.
