We have asked A+ Lawn & Landscape to provide us with a quote for various services including mowing, trimming, weeding etcThe sales person was timely and very engaging and provided us quotes to choose from within hoursWe then responded with the services we wanted - weekly mowing, monthly weeding and a one time trimming of all bushes and treesA total commitment of over $that we accepted
After reception of our acceptance and of our credit card information, the sales person came back and told us that we could only get the services we wanted (and that she sent us in a contract) if we agreed to also have them fertilize the lawn, which I had no desire to see them doThis was never discussed before and even if it had, forced cross-selling is illegal, whichever way you want to look at itShe argued that we should have been told upfront (was never mentioned or we would not have engaged in discussions with the company), and that it was a requirement despite giving us a contract proposal that only included the services we wanted and nothing elseBased on this unethical and illegal approach to business we terminated the discussions
It is alarming that a Revdex.com accredited business would engage in this type of commercial scamIt is obviously well practiced and well rehearsed and many will fall for itI have all the emails to document any statement in this review
