To Whom This May Concern:This letter is in response to the complaint received in your office, referenced ID above, from applicant [redacted] *** I agreed to meet with [redacted] on my own personal time as he said that was the only time they could meet At no time did he mention wanting to see the property prior to putting a deposit down until that evening After making time out of my schedule to meet with him he indicated they wanted to see the property prior to putting the deposit down and was quite aggressive in his manner and tone This request could have been done over the phone and did not need to take place on my personal time I informed him I would need to contact the renters and get back to him with a time Unfortunately, when I contacted the current renters they asked if they could stay in the property because they had decided they did not want to move I agreed to allow them to stay The property therefore became unavailable As a management company, we are under no obligation to an applicant to give them details on any of our listings, only the status which is the exact information he was given Application fees are not refundable because an applicant does not like the outcome Our work in processing them is the same regardless It is unfortunate he is unhappy and feels we wronged him in some way but I don’t believe we could have done anything differently that would have satisfied him under the circumstances.Sincerely,Jennifer *V [redacted]
