They built a pole barn and garage cover for us. They showed up when they said they would and did excellent work. I highly recommend them and will use them again.
Contacted Glacier Steel Buildings, spoke to gentleman on phone. We spoke for roughly 20 minutes, talking about his product and services. I was super excited to receive quotation for our planned project. Asked if he would be willing to look at building site with me, and guide me on site work prior to potential work starting. Gentleman told me he doesn’t do that because potential clients will to his knowledge and go buy cheaper building out of Washington. I understood, and asked when we could receive quote. He told me if was driving to potential customers property to meet them and discuss a building. He proceeded to ask if I could leave a message on his office number and he would contact me on Monday. Fast forward six days later, I reached out to office number and left voicemail. Immediately, receive a call back and tone was different. He stated that he didn’t receive my message and that he basically, didn’t have availability until June. I still requested a quote, and he proceeded to tell me to get a quote elsewhere and hung up on me. Serious lack of professionalism, and a person who’s only interested in chasing a dollar. So unfortunate...
Thank-you for the feedback however we are disappointed that we somehow gave the impression that we are only “chasing a dollar” It has always been our business model to respond promptly to customers potentially interested having us work with them on their building projects. We also believe it is with upmost importance that a potential customer be told of the timeline as to when a building project could be started. We did receive a call from this gentleman on our business cell phone but it was received while driving and the customer was asked to call the main office line and leave us the building specifications in order for us to provide a free quote. Unfortunately this message never came through. The customer did call back several days later upon which time the conversation did include our policy on site evaluations and an estimated time of when we could begin the project. It became clear to us that our timeline was unacceptable to him. It is unfortunate that this was not able to work out, however we strongly believe it is better to be honest about timelines in order to prevent upset and problems.
