I am rejecting this response because:I stand by everything that I stated earlierThere are so many lies in MrB*** ***'s Response that I will let the Contractors State License Board and all appropriate legal parties handle it from hereI need financial restitution from these "contractors" that I gave my life savings 25K to I pray that no other consumers will ever have to fall prey to Mason Mobile Home Services and FMartin ConstructionI also pray that I am able to find a contractor willing to take over the disaster that they left my home and that I finally can leave this motel room! It was on or about May 2, 2015, P[redacted] came into my mobile home sales office, located at 810 Wagon Wheel Rd. Oxnard Ca. 93036, and proceeded to tell me of the FIXER UPPER she had just purchased at Ojai Valley Estates, she came with a list of items that she wanted us to take care of for her. I...

drove to Ojai and inspected the unit she purchased, and also had a licensed contractor goto Ojai to inspect and evaluate the scope of work and determine costs. Ms. K[redacted] did have other contractors submitting bids. I wrote the contract up myself, acting as her agent as she was adamant that she would direct the work and oversee the whole project. My fee to be her agent was only $2000. But, as we proceeded with the remodel of her home, daily Ms. K[redacted] was making changes to the contract, and completely omitting some items. Ms. K[redacted] is totally in a fog and has no comprehension as to the workings of construction and working on mobile homes. If she did, she wouldn't be coming in with revisions and changes to things that needed to be done, or had already been done. We did our utmost to advise her, but her mind set was she was determined to control everything that went on. This can be done, but only on a hourly rate, and not when a job is bid flat rate. But when the costs of bids are held low, and the type of work requested is predetermined, and if Ms. K[redacted] wants addons or omissions, they need to be charged for, and signatures affixed in proper places, so that both sides have the same guidelines. For some unknown reason she could not understand why it would cost more. And each time she made changes, it either stopped work or brought it to a snails pace. I had asked her numerous times to come by the office so we could talk it over, and see what could be done with the daily changes. She REFUSED, and wanted to handle everything at the job site. It would only take her a few minutes before she was screaming and yelling at us, calling us a bunch of crooks, using the mouth of a drunken sailor, using every foul word in the book, yes, especially the “F” word. And she could go off on you in the drop of a hat. She has now stopped work completely a total of three (3) times. This last one, evidently a permanent stoppage. I will reiterate, this lady has NO clue, is totally unaware, of any workings of the construction industry. Shend way should have tried to act as OwnerBuilder. It no way fits her personality, or lack of, her experience, or largely her emotional status. We are still willing and ready to finish the work for Ms. K[redacted]. I have been licensed and in the mobile home industry for 35 years.
