Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: it had nothing to do with the car fax I had no idea how to read a carfax at the time I got the car it has to do with they never told us it was wrecked before we purchased the car I also told them all I wanted was a challenger witch is what I was trading for when I found out from another dealer it was wrecked I have hit nothing but a rock wall with them it toke them two months to find a challenger for me he said it was for me so why was it on there lot days before he told me about it he is just dragging his feet trying to make more money off of me and my wife so I still ether want a challenger or all my money back $still owed on the car and $in payments I aready spent on this wreck and I will never nor will I ever go there or recom ened them againSincerely, [redacted]

On 4/17/18, I was able to make and keep an appointment with a manager at Gladstone Mitsubishi and they refunded the purchase price of the auto I accepted the amount offered, signed their papers and am satisfied with the resolution of my complaint I appreciate the assistance Revdex.com offers to consumers, and the outcome, though belated, is what would be expected from a reputable business Thank you

Mr *** purchased the truck on Feb23rd filled out application and agreed to termsThe application was sent
to the lender and approved based on the info provided on the applicationManagement told Mr*** we would need to provide a paystub to the lender, which he asked if he could bring it back laterThis took several daysAfter several calls and messages, letters and days later another paystub was brought in which did not show the correct amountThe lender said they could not do the deal with that income so we notified Mr*** that he needed to come in so we could go over his optionsHe had the option to unwind and receive any trades and/or down payment back or resign at different termsAfter several unanswered phone calls the sales manager leaving the messages gets a text showing a photo of the truck wreckedHe filed a claim and we received a check for the balance owing of $this amount reflects the sales price of $13,and $in dmv fees minus the $cash downThis is why no down payment was or will be returnedI would be more than happy to sit down in person and go over all the numbers just contact me at ***

We have been in contact for several weeks with Mr and Mrs ***Their original complaint was that we did not disclose the vehicle they purchased had previous damage according to carfaxAt the time of sale they where given a copy of the Carfax and
even signed the Carfax (included in this email) acknowledging they understood it showed an accidentAfter speaking to the ***'s on Sept 19th they informed me if we could find and finance them on a Dodge Challenger they would be accept this as a resolutionAt their request we submitted for loan on ChallengerUnfortunately we were unable to get a loan for the amount needed to purchaseWe have offered to trade into a vehicle that was equal to the vehicle they already have and they declined.

I am rejecting this response because: I read the emails also and I see the promises that were made and never happened, I shouldn't have even drove there because I should have learned the first time I bought a vehicle from you guys. When I get a email saying I am approved for what I am looking at to buy that to me means a done deal, Micheal the floor guy he called himself didn't even try to negotiate at all after I found out the 25000 amount, didn't even try, all he had tried to do wad sell me something else. I had came then for one reason was to get that one truck, I am sure there was room in the price of truck to negotiate and I could have did a down payment. This is twice I had left there feeling emotionally taken, Sorry to say I wouldn't refer your dealerships to anyone I know, I definetaly wont go back.

As I said before we will stand behind the work already performed in the shop. According to the service manager and technician the problems that Mr. [redacted] is experiencing now are not related to the items that were already repaired. After reviewing documents for the DMV I found we sent the title to DMV with 21 days of the vehicle purchase. Enclosed are these documents. Plates were transferred from their trade to new vehicle DMV completed on 11/14/16. The vehicle was financed so the...

title goes to the finance company. After speaking to the service dept. and reviewing documents I found at the time of sale we agreed to fix a seat switch and door handle. After two years and 42,236 miles customer brought vehicle in for mechanical issues. The tech and service writer found the problem and vehicle was repaired under the service contract purchased at time of sale. We also repaired the seat switch and other items not covered by service contract at little to no cost. An appointment is set for next week to address the concerns she still has.  We are and always have been happy to fix their car. So in conclusion we transferred the title on time. Prior to receiving this complaint we made an appointment by phone to fix their car.

Mr. [redacted] came into dealership on 4/14/15 for a noise in the engine possibly low oil.  During the oil change and complementry inspection our tech advised vehicle needed oil pan , Trans pan , valve covers all resealed. A timing belt was recommended during this  visit and repair was declined...

by Mr. [redacted] at that time. Customer was also advised he needed new brake springs. It can be common for vehicles, like Mr. [redacted]'s with 176,000+ miles to need several repairs.Customer came back in on 4/28 to address leaks. We replaced valve cover gaskets, spark plugs, valve covers, rear camshaft O-rings and spark plugs and tube seals. Vehicle was road tested by tech and drove and ran good.  Mr. [redacted] picked up his vehicle and paid the bill.  Although the vehicle ran good for us  Mr. [redacted] brought the vehicle back in for similar concerns. The spark plug wires were replaced due to  OHM reading being  to high.  His timing belt had also jumped due to the tensioner failing, and one of the oxygen sensor was dead. These items were all addressed and replaced as goodwill a rental car was also given  and not charged to customer. Again Mr. [redacted] picked up his vehicle and vehicle ran fine no more codes.  Several days later he complained that the check engine light was on and brought vehicle back in. At no charged to him we diagnosed the engine light and found code for his converter and recommended this be replaced. This repairs are not related to any of the previous repairs. The repairs are due to high mileage vehicle not mechanic mistakes like Mr. [redacted] thinks.I was told of Mr. [redacted]'s dissatisfaction and called to speak with him about it. We had a lengthy discussion about how these are 2 different problems. I told him we would stand behind the work we did 100% and if he would like to have us relook at any of the previous repairs we would at no cost. I also offered to give a discount in the pricing of the converter repair since he had spent a fair amount in our shop previously. Internet manager explained to you several times that there are several variables within the transaction. Your Trade-in, proof of income, cash down requirements,  how you paid your current loan, these are all factors we have no control over and can not verify without you being here.   It is unfortunate the lenders would not give the loan needed to purchase the truck you wanted. Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:first of all there is no any goodwill, there are laws and polices that needs to be follow, your techs put the wrong thing in the car and caused all of these things to fail. The wrong spark plugs were put in the car when you guys did the tune up that was suggested by your tech which caused the engine to misfire and all of these things to fail, and later after it been fixed, there is still abnormal shake in the whole care which caused be the misfiring of the engine not going back to its normal rhythm, and your tech said that it would never get better than that. Second, when I picked up the car, on my way home the check engine light came on and I immediately went back the dealer not a few days, and there was two codes, one they forgot to tight the air screw and it was losing and the other one was the catalytic converter, and if you said that is failed due the age, it must be been used while it was in the shop until the converter went bad, otherwise the check engine light would not come on immediately ,and I already paid almost a $1000, and your tech claimed that the converter is another $1000, I do not have that amount of money and I don't want to pay for things that I did not cause.This is not making any sense at all, and I need some fair respond.........     Sincerely,[redacted]
