03/01/16I have attached a copy of the U.SSupply Coinvoice showing what was charged for the gallow-boy water heater which was installed? Although it has a printed label stating gal., this is what was installed and what is sold as a low-boy water heater? Robert made an error on the customer invoice when he wrote that it was a galwater heater? galwater heater are the size he installs and so he automatically wrote galon the invoice? A? galwould not fit in the crawl space and so he had to return it and get the more expensive low-boy? As with all contractors & plumbers, there is a mark up on the items installed? There was time involved to pick-up, then return the? galwater heater & then go back again to get the gallow-boy? We are a single operator/plumber with no employees and we are the best priced (to our knowledge) in the area? Our customer's daughter called to complain about the cost and was so rude and would not listen to an explanation of the situation? In years of operation, we have never had a problem like this? Most customers, who are return customers, tell us we are too cheap & should charge more.However, if it will resolve the problem, we will re-imburse the customer for the mark-up? But be assured, she got exactly what we charged her for, and much cheaper than the other large plumbing companies out there.? Also, before starting this job, we estimated the final cost between $- $? The final charge was just over $? The customer was okay with this? Unfortunately, her daughter was not, and believed we "ripped her off."? Please let us know what we should do? If it's necessary to re-imburse the customer the mark-up, we will do so but only because we don't want our good name dragged through the dirt through no fault of ours?
