This report is two years laterbut after having a friend who recently went through a similar experience at same salon I had written a *** review recently about by experience two years agoWhich was as follows:
I had purchases a groupon for a cut and deep conditioning treatment at glamour addict's for about 20$When I got to the salon I was a met by manager laura, who I had offered to show her my groupon up frontShe said it was fine and to show her at the endI also verbally told her what the Groupon was forAgain she said it's okay show me at the endThe girl who did my hair along with owner , tried to upsell my procedure I declined and said I wanted exactly what the Groupon was for She continued to do as treatment on my hairwhich ended up being a keratin treatment NOTA deep conditioning treatment which is what my groupon was forBeing I am not a hair dresser I did no know what chemicals or procedures r used for either procedure When it was time to paayI gave the owner my groupon She said oh you had gotten a keratin treatment which is (aprox) I said I didn't want a keratin I wanted a deep conditioning, she said u should have showed me the Groupon I said I tiredShe ignored me and said well u have to at least pay for the coSt of the product 90$ I said I don't have that eitherI brought enough to tip the girlShe said okay come back tomorrowI had no intention of going back bc this was a blatant attempt at a bait and switchNeedless to say for a month these girls from the salon called me for a monthAll hours of the night Threatening me
After reading a similar horror story I decided as I said to take to yelpOnly to be met with two cops at my door saying that the owner of the salon said I was now harassing herOnly proof she has was a *** review and a review on her Facebook page that allows u to rate their preformace
This women /salon makes their living off of bait and switching all coupons Come in for one thing and end up paying for a service u did not ask for This needs to be investigated .the stories I've heard are endless

Can you please tell me what she's talking about accepting my $coupon? She did notThat is advertisingThe coupon clearly only says highlight special $There is no fine print! She also told me to come back in weeksI wanted to show her my hair and get my money backI was not able to come back the next day to "fix" it and I didn't want her to touch my hair again anywayHer employees were very nice and I did not scream at them at allThey calledher because she wasn't thereThey said she would call me back She called me back and I missed her call and called her back minutes laterShe did not answerSo since her message said to call her back at the stores number I assumed she was there at that store so I went back instead of playing phone tagShe was not there I had my friend with me who is "like a sister" since we have known eachother for yearsShe got on the phone and complained too being she is a hairdresser too she couldn't believe how unprofessional she wasShe then calls the cops on us which was pretty funny because we were both very nice to her employees and there were NO customers in the placeThe cops were pretty much laughing said there was nothing they could doAs for hiring a lawyer that is ** because I did nothing wrong but voice my opinion and try not to get taken advantage ofIf you look on *** which is a website for reviews good or bad there are many other ones who have complainedThis lady is having a baby she has nothing else to do then think about this? Making a big deal over $ I told her to keep her $and just give me back the rest and this would all be over with.

We provided a highlight special for $45. This special was for a partial high light. Which was explained during a consultation that all of our stylist have with their clients prior to receiving any service. After a lengthy...

conversation of what [redacted] "Hair goal " was we decided a full head would get her closest to what she eventually wanted her hair to look like. She agreed to a full head and we proceeded. One month later she came back to Glamour Addict demanding her money back. She had come once at noon and then again at 5:30 pm accompanied by a women who was out of control. With this her "sister" the women, proceeded to yell,curse and scream and my two employees. They called me bc I was out of town I spoke to the "sister" asking her to speak to [redacted] and to please calm down or she would need to leave. I asked [redacted] to return to the salon on the following day (Friday) so I could see what she was so unhappy with, and she refused. Our store policy is two weeks maximum for ALL re-dos. I still offered to "fix" whatever it was she didn't like. Due to their behavior my staff called the police. They were removed from the property and asked to not come back, or they would be arrested. Since then I had to hire a lawyer for defamation, and she was band by the page owners on [redacted] because she was not following the rules of the page. [redacted] also clams to have no job but she is currently "self" employed as a "pet sitter".  We the owners of Glamour Addict feel we offered [redacted] the best options we could have provided. Thank you

Review: I went to the Glamour Addict on 6/**/14 for a hair cut and half head of highlights. I waited 45 minutes for [redacted] who was running late. She also was in the middle of two other clients while working on my hair. She proceeded to tell me that I only needed a partial highlight. I told her I specifically wanted the highlights to frame my face and cover my grey. She told me that was not a problem. When I asked why I did not receive a call that she was running so behind she asked me if I wanted to reschedule. I said no since I left work and waited 45 minutes for the appt. She did not apologize her entire demeanor was rude. She then told me that I only needed a partial head of highlights and that I needed to cut 5 inches off of my dead hair. She put the highlights in my hair went in the break room, had lunch, talked on the phone. She did not set a timer and she hastily once looked at the foil on my head. She then told the wash girl to rinse my head approximately 10 minutes later and never looked at the highlight color again. Further, I asked her to cut my hair in an angle with layers. I have no layers in my hair, the highlights are not on the grey parts of my hair and she then proceeded to tell me that for her to blow out my hair would be $20.00 more. It does not mention that a blow out is additional with an adult hair cut on the website. In the past I paid $45.00 for a hair cut with a blow out. I believe that she did not want to blow out my hair because she was so backed up with two clients in the middle of [redacted] and more waiting. She told me I had too much hair. She the only thing she did was cut 5" of hair off of my head. I called the salon to complain about the coloring and request a refund and was told that the highlights would not cover my grey. Funny how I was not told that when I was getting the process done to my hair. I paid the salon a hundred dollars for the service which I feel I should be refunded.Desired Settlement: I would like the $100.00 which I paid to the salon refunded. I need to go to another salon and have them fix the hair cut and the coloring which looks like a five year old painted randomly on my head. The lack of caring and concern for me the client is distressful and I feel that it is my obligation to report this business to the Revdex.com.

Review: I purchased a Groupon for $39 for a haircut, All Over Color & blow out. I called the salon & made an appointment letting them know the type of groupon I had. Upon arrival, I waited a few minutes as the stylist was late to arrive & then I was asked to sit in the salon chair & draped with a cover. She asked me what color I wanted & I told her I wanted the same brown color I already had. She went to mix some color & came back. She asked me to confirm that I was there with my groupon & I took it out & handed it to her. She said my groupon was only for a root touch up & that if I wanted All Over Color it was going to be an additional $25. I told her that the groupon I purchased was for All Over Color & asked her to look at it, she said it stated a Single Process which meant a root touch up. I told her that I had purchased many of these groupons in the past, all stating Single process & none were root touch ups. She called over to [redacted] & asked her & [redacted] said all over color was an additional charge & the stylist said I didn't know there was a difference from one to the other. They charged me an additional $25 to my credit card. The advertisement clearly stated all over color. The groupon printed stated single process color. The meaning of single process color on a websearch is All Over Color to All of the Hair.Desired Settlement: I am not disputing that I got my hair colored but I want my $25 refunded for the overcharge and mis advertisement.
