On 10/**/*** *** had purchased a birthday gift for her boyfriend. We showed her a variety of jewelry. At the end of the sale there was a discount applied. We had explained our policy of no returns exchanges only within days.
We had received a call from her boyfriend, who filed this complaint, to ask if he can come in and exchange one of the pieces. As per our policy we said yes. He was not present at the time of the purchase so he does not understand the details of the transaction.
When they both came in we showed them various pieces again so he can pick what he prefers. He chose a pendant that was $less than the piece he wanted to exchange. The price was not to his satisfaction and he did not want to hear or understand anything that was said. He decided that since the difference was not so much in price then he will keep the piece he originally wanted to exchange. He chose not to exchange the jewelry, we went by everything we said and his rude behavior is not appreciated

Review: My girlfriend purchased two diamond pendants from the establishment. It was a surprise and she told the jeweler Tatiana that she wasn't sure if I would like it can she return or exchange it if I do not. and was told yes. It came down to two pieces one was $550 and the other about $395. When I received the gift I did not want the piece for $550 instead I wanted the less flashier one for $395. I spoke to the jeweler and they said it was ok to come and exchange assuming we would be credited the difference. when we got there she said it was only a difference of $20 when the week before there was a $100+ difference. I was told there was nothing they can do since it was already purchased.Desired Settlement: I would like for the proper credit to be established and applied
