To whom it may concern, This email is in regards to the complaint from [redacted] There was in fact some miscommunication regarding the customers home when I was discussing a delivery optionWhen asked her complete address there was no aprtment number given, I did also ask the customer if her home was easily accessible for my delivery person which she responded it was and it faced the streetAgain no mention of apartments or stairs by the customerWhen I sent a text confirmation of planned delivery the customer then informed me she was in apetments and her apartment was located up stairsI informed her that the new information provided would change the delivery charge unless she had someone who could assist my delivery person up the stairsWhen she said she had no one to help I again told her I still could deliver but it would now change the delivery price since now I need TWO delivery people In order to get a very heavy piece of furniture up apartment stairsShe became upset and demanded a full refund in which I responded that we have a strict ALL SALES ARE FINAL policy which is clearly posted next to my register where she had originally paidMs [redacted] 's mother then called me the next day threatening to take me to small claims courtWhen I did not budge on my return policy Ms [redacted] then made arrangements with me to pick up her dresser and mirror herselfShe came with a truck and her boyfriend and my employees loaded the dresser for Ms [redacted] , she then offered my employee a $tip which he happily accepted, she was very pleasant, said goodbye and left with her furniture At this time I'm unsure how to resolve this problem as the customer has her item in her possessionPlease let me know what further action needs to be done to rectify this situation Regards, [redacted] *** Owner of Glamtic Antiques
