Review: I am writing concerning the used car I purchased from Glanzmann dealership in March, 2012. The salesman told me the car was lightly used, never been involved in any accidents and just had a complete overhaul to be certified by Subaru. I was given the Subaru Certified Pre Owned checklist stating the battery, brakes, alignment, rotors, struts, end links, had just been replaced. Once I drove the car home, it had many problems. Steering wheel was not straight car was shaking and brakes were pulsating. I immediately called the salesman and after four days and involving a manager, I was able to bring the car back in to get the alignment done and disks resurfaced. 3 months down the road I took the car to my mechanic. He advised me that the car had a lot of wear and tear and there was definitely something wrong with the suspension. Couple of months later due to the uneven wear and tear on the tires the mechanic advised me to get another Alignment. Your dealership refused to pay for the alignment again, so I had to pay for it myself. In April 2013 I was left stranded had to call a tow truck and found out the battery was completely dead. Again according to the checklist it showed it was replaced in 2012 when I bought this. Come to find out it was the original battery and it was never replaced. [redacted] report also shows it was replaced by the dealership. About 2 months ago during my routine oil change I come to find out the struts, end links, front tires all need to be replaced again, and were never done. The brand new tires are stripped on the inside and have plenty of thread on the outside. Also need another alignment. Sick of all the money and headaches invested in this car, I decide to get it appraised to trade in for another vehicle. The dealership showed me the carfax that showed the car was a lease and it was involved in a serious accident (Right passenger side and passenger front quarterpanel) Always noticed the back bumber was always uneven with the car. At the time of purchase we were shown another car fax report that showed one owner and no accidents. I am extremely dissatisfied and quite upset on how business is conducted in this dealership. It is misleading information, and fraud. My husband is a police officer and we were just looking for what’s fair and we both feel we were scammed. I now own a car that is unreliable, and most importantly unsafe putting my life and the life of my children in jeopardy when all I wanted was to purchase a safe reliable car. I am truly rescinding the purchase of this car, based on the unresponsiveness and carelessness of this dealership. The salesperson misrepresented a material fact that I relied on in deciding to purchase the car. I tried resolving the issue with the managers there, I took the car in to get looked at on Monday 8/12. The car was in the shop for 20 minutes and when they called me back they stated there was no damage. Clearly in order to determine if the frame was bent it involves measuring the car and t's a 2 hours process not eye balling the frame. They offered giving me 11000 for the car and I would be left with 7000 for the remaining of the loan. Clearly this doesn't help me. I cannot do any more costly repairs when all this is caused by the accident the car was in, just so 6 months down the road I will have to do them again. I cannot trade the car in because due to the issues and the accident the value of the car is down from what I owe on it. Please let me know I can resolve this ASAP.Desired Settlement: I would like for the delership to buy back the car and payoff the loan 18K. I lost a thousands of dollars in repairs and headaches with this car, not to mention putting my life and my childrens lives at risk. I am looking for 25K however I would settle for the loan amount to be paid off.
