Glass Doctor is truly sorry about the miscommunication regarding your windowThe employee who originally handled this job is no longer with the company and the job had to be redone numerous times due to complications with the workThis is not an excuseOnce it was finally brought to you attention
we quickly got in contact with the customer, resolved the problem and got his window back to him in perfect condition as quickly as we couldWe also refunded the customer money off his orderSituations like this are never desirable but always help us grow and improve as a companyWe have since put in a new and better system of checking in-shop work to ensure nothing slips through the cracksThank you

I am rejecting this response because:
In regards to the emails you sent to me yesterday at 5:PM and 6:PM, I am somewhat confused with your proposal. Your email at 5:PM stated that you would be out tomorrow, 12/29, to replace the windows that your technicians broke on 12/27. Then, in your 6:PM email, you stated that you would order the two windows that your technicians broke and I would have to pay $for those windowsThe first time we spoke on the phone on 12/27, you called me right after your technicians left, asking if I had a problem with the quote because it was too high. You were already aware that I had called and spoke with another gentleman at your office while your technicians were still in front of my home writing up my estimate to inform him about the two windows that were brokenI told you I was upset because two of my windows were shattered by your technicians. Your response to me was that it happens sometimes, especially when it is this cold out. I did not have to replace my windows, I was simply getting a quote. The windows were fully functional and in working order and passed inspection. They were just, "foggy". That, however, is really not your concern. Your concern, as an owner of a company, is to provide excellent customer service and integrity for your consumers. As you stated in your first email at 5:PM, you are not sure we can work together. So, I feel the best resolution for this situation is for me to get my windows repaired elsewhere, and we will accept your $as a reimbursement for the windows that were broken by your technicians on 12/27. My husband and I believe that would be reasonable and amicable
Sincerely,

Customer claims we broke a smell plastic part on her car door. This is a dubious claim in that [redacted] claimed we broke that piece after another company worked on that same doorglass. Nonetheless, we told her we would take care of it.
We...

asked[redacted] to run by a dealer in order for us to get the actual part ordered. She refused. She is demanding a check for $433 which is a ridiculous amount for a small piece of plastic.
Again, if [redacted] would just take the car to a dealer so we can order the right part, we will take care of everything.
Thank you

The $350 offer was to replace your windows with new unfogged insulated glass units . That apparently is not acceptable to you sow what we will do today is replace the panes our tech broke with brand new glass and bring your windows back to their original condition as we originally found them at no charge to you at all.Thank you

I have both emailed and left a phone message for [redacted] to tell her that Glass Doctor is going to refund the full amount she requested, $307.00.  I asked that she reply to us by either phone call or email to confirm that her complaint would be resolved with that refund. Thank you,...

[redacted] Glass Doctor

Dear Mr & Mrs [redacted], We have an appointment with you tomorrow to bring you’re insulated glass back to it’s original condition prior to our arrival on 12/27/17. You wrote in your letter to the Revdex.com of 12/29/17 you stated “I am not sure I am comfortable with them coming out”. I...

am likewise concerned that you will create a very uncomfortable situation for our technician. I am very confident that will be bring these insulated glasses back to their original condition, but if you prefer we do not come and do that, please let us know.In an effort to settle this dispute amicably, Glass Doctor will agree to
to reduce our price from $632 to $350 to replace your 2 insulated that
had failed seals and were fogged up when we got there. After all, that’s
what you called three glass companies to replace them. They will have
to be replaced anyway in order to sell your house and this offer is a
great benefit for you. We have the exact sizes and can order them right
away. To turn this offer down would be very shortsighted on your part
and will expire tomorrow afternoon. To come out to fix your windows that had already lost their seal is very foolish. Nonetheless, we will be there tomorrow to replace the glass on 2 insulated window that have already lost their seal.
Thank you,
Glass Doctor
