We have replaced Mr. [redacted]’s windshield on his 2007 [redacted] 3 times, 2 being under warranty. Our warranty program replaces the actual windshield at no charge but there is a charge for labor. Mr [redacted] was never charged for labor on either of the warranty windshield work. We did have a report of...

his top molding coming off 4 months after the windshield was replaced and was fixed to his satisfaction in October 2016. His last warranty windshield was in April 2017 and again was not charged for labor. We only use auto glass replacement approved tools and adhesive, so a hammer would not have been used on his molding. If by chance the molding would have broken, we would have ordered a new one to install vs trying to piece a broken one back together. Also, on the windshield installed on his vehicle, the molding comes attached to the windshield from our supplier. We would not use any tools that would leave scratches on vehicles, especially on the fenders. We always put the windshield wipers back on and test them to make sure they are working properly and his were at the completion of the job. The last installation was to his satisfaction as well. Of note, we did on multiple occasions see how dirty his vehicle was inside and outside with scratches, dents, mismatched paint and stains. We do not use any chemicals that would damage the paint of a vehicle. The owner personally said he had never seen such a nasty car. As said above, we only use approved auto glass replacement tools and adhesives so the damage he claims was not done by us. He was generously offered $300 that was for the cost of the original windshield to which he didn’t respond to for 2+ months. Since that time he has threatened us personally and our Corporate offices with slander using social media and giving bad reviews on every internet outlet he can find. Due to this, our prior consideration is no longer an option since we do not care to deal with this type of person.
