Glass Doctor

We asked this business to replace the glass in a patio door prior to selling our house. May 3rd payment of $229.75 was made over the phone. It was half of payment to order the glass after they’d been out twice to measure it. We inquired the end of Mayor early June on the status and learned the glass was damanged in transit and had to be reordered. Our house was on the market. I stated that was fine if it could be done in time before sold. When it did arrive we scheduled time for it to be put in either the end of June or 1st week of July. When they came to install it appeared they measured it wrong and then had to reorder it. Our house had been soon and repair wasn’t necessary to be done for new owners so we asked to be refunded due to the time frame and error on their part. We called the 3rd week of July before moving to Check on refund and let them know if the new address. Each week in August we called to ask if it had been sent. First time the man said wife did the accounting and he’d check and get back to me. Second time I followed up and he said you still haven’t received it? I’ll have her check again. Third time he stated it had been sent out and to new address given. There was a holiday near there so we gave it two weeks. Fourth time he stated it’s sent that he didn’t know where it was. This continued for weeks. He then told my husband the address I gave was wrong and gave him an wmil address to email it to so it could be verified in writing. We did that and I also asked a week after sent if I could get a response that they did receive it & I’ve yet to get one. A voicemail was left today asking if they received my email.
