Review: Glass and More, Inc was contracted on April 3, 2013 to install a frameless shower glass enclosure on my property. The job was promised to be finished on April 10, 2013 however the job was not completed until April 17, 2013. Since there was a delay in delivery Spencer promised to credit me back $200.00.

Complaint #1: I never received the credit to my [redacted] card.

Complaint #2: The frameless shower glass door will not close and water is pouring out of the shower.

I initially tried to contact Spencer, the owner of the company, on Monday August 5, 2013. I called him seven times and left three voice messages. I also sent him an email. On Tuesday August 6, 2013, I tried to reach him by faxing a letter to his company. Spencer returned my call on Tuesday, August 6, 2013. Spencer told me he would contact me on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 by 9:30 AM to let me know if he could send someone out on Friday, August 9, 2013.

I never heard from Spencer on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 so I called him three times and left one voice message. On August 8, 2013, I called two additional times. On August 9, 2013, I called five more times.

Spencer has not returned my phone calls. The warranty on the Glass and More, Inc. website and my invoice states, “We provide a one year warranty on products and services on original work."Desired Settlement: I want him to be responsible and repair the glass door. I am in a bind. No other glass company will repair the door since it was not installed by their company. It is a liability since the glass is tempered. The only other option is to get a price quote for a new frameless shower glass enclosure installed by another company. Then I would be out $1, 850.00. I have no other option than to be stuck dealing with Spencer.

Review: This company took the money and never carried out the contracted service (first time I encounter this in my life). After paying $450 to replace a skylight in June 2013, they went "silent". My real state agent and me have called about 30 times over a 3 month period, left a dozen voice mails. Only once did the owner ([redacted]) pick up, and told me they would come to do the job (no apology or explanation was provided). They never showed up. I have reported the situation to Revdex.com and I only want the money back, I would not let these people into my home. UnbelievableDesired Settlement: Just want the money back, $450

Review: [redacted] and More was referred to me by another resident of my building.

I call had an appointment. A glass and more worker came to my home measured gave me a price to replace glass. I told him it was too high. He made a phone call to the owner of glass and more about the price right in front of me. The owner reduced the price. The worker said the company would order the glass and call to come back and replace the broken glass.

I called the owner at least a dozen times. "he always said he would get back to me with a deliver replacement date" AND NEVER DID. TO add insult he stopped answering my calls.

I called the worker at least a dozen times and was told the same exact thing. The work stopped answering my calls as well as the owner of glass and more.

glass and more made a business agreement with me and will not stand by their word. This is not how businesses operate.Desired Settlement: I purchased glass which was included in the price that glass and more gave me of 120.00.

glass and more if they have any business ethics will put the glass on the cabinet for me this is the least they can do for being unethical to me.

I am rejecting this response because: The owner [redacted] called me today, and asked if he could come look at the job.

The owner [redacted] had the measurements of my job since July. I asked him if he was bringing the glass and he told me no that he did not have the glass. He and his employee had the measurements since July.

This is just another delay tactic on the part of [redacted]. He had the measurement since July. He just wants to delay another 3 months and this is not how decent businesses operate.

I purchased glass and will have [redacted] in [redacted], MD do the placement which cost $120.00 the same price I was quoted by [redacted] and his employee. Therefore, he can pay [redacted] $120.00 for the job he should have done in July 2013. He is very deceitful in his business dealings and has delayed this since July and it is now October 8, 2013 and he would have never called me if I did not write the Revdex.com. I have been with a broken door since July because of the owners business delay tactics.
