The customer was emailed on 5/5/and asked to send in a copy of the prescription she entered so that it could be confirmed if the mistake was made by the lab building the glassesIn that case, the customer would be entitled to either a refund or to have the glasses remade; which ever solution
she chooses Since the customer refused to send the prescription to determine fault, we are following our return policy that clearly states that there is a 50% restocking fee on returned glasses Our webstie also outlines the hours that a customer service representative is available to speak with, a live chat option is offered to customers with questions or concerns outside of those hours If the customer will produce a copy of the prescription entered and it is found that the lab had made a mistake building the lenses, we will be happy to refund the customerIt should also be noted that a prescription that is over year old can't be gauranteed since prescriptions change over time and the customer needs to be re-examined to ensure the prescription is current This is also noted on the Glassesshop.com website
