Unbelievable
I followed the add on Facebook and placed a minimum order, less than $50 for Hemp Gummies on January 16th, 2022.

When I later opened their confirmation order they had charged me $270.57 US. for 6 orders.
I then contacted the Royal Bank of Canada Claims and they advised me to contact
the company. I sent then sent them an email respectfully asking them to cancel and refund the charge. I also left my contact information.

There was no reply

I had no contact with them since.

On February 3rd, 2022 I received an email ( **personal info redacted** ) that read :

"Thank you for your purchase!

Hi, *** *** we're getting your order ready to be shipped.
We will notify you when it has been sent.

I made no such purchase nor did I authorize any such purchase.

This company created a false order and billed it to my credit card.

I have received no products nor have I been contacted other than the
email regarding the additionally false order they created.

Please stop adding false orders and remedy this by refunding my card fully
for the $270.57 (Jan 16) and the $89.95 (Feb 3rd) + $360.52 (US).

Gleam and Glow scammed me and charged my account without my authorization and the customer care representative refuses to issue me a refund.
On January 31, 2019 Gleam and Glow asked me to participate in a trial. I agreed. The Order number for these trial products are: XXXXXX for $4.95 and Order Number XXXXXX for $5.94. These transactions were posted on my Mastercard credit card.
On Friday Febraury 15, 2019 Gleam and Glow charged my credit card account for two transactions: $109.97 and $99.97.
I have sent an email asking for a refund for these two transactions. The email reply I received was to contact Customer Care.
The customer representative refused to give me a refund saying that she "cannot process a refund".
My credit card account was charged on Friday Febraury 15th at 12:11am. The company Gleam and Glow refuses to refund me the $109.79 and $99.79; I did not expect these transactions to occur.
I informed the Gleam and Glow customer representative that I did not receive any invoices for these transactions, I did not receive a notice that this transaction was being processed and that the company Gleam and Glow was not authorized to charge me $109.97 and $99.79. The Gleam and Glow customer representative still refused to process a refund.
I did not even receive a confirmation of these two transactions of $109.97 and $99.79.
I did not authorize these two transactions of $109.97 and $99.79 which were processed on my Mastercard (the same mastercard that was charged earlier for the trial products).
I was not informed that on February 15, 2019 my account would be charged. I was not informed of the amounts my mastercard credit card was being charged.
I did not authorize payments of $109.97 and $99.79 from Gleam and Glow.
I did not agree to payments of $109.97 and $99.97.
I have mentioned all of these facts to the Gleam and Glow customer representative and she still refused to process a refund saying that she "cannot process a refund".

Desired Outcome

I want a full refund of $109.97 and $99.79 on the Mastercard that Gleam and Glow used to charge me.

Gleam and Glow Skin Response • Apr 22, 2019

Hi ***,

When you order on our website you must agree to the terms and conditions which state that after 14 days + 3 days of shipping you will be charged for the Gleam and Glow if you do not call to cancel and return the product.

Your trial started when you ordered the products on (01/29/2019) which you paid shipping and handling fees of $5.79. Your trial ended on (02/14/2019), in which we didn't receive any call from you thus, your account has been kept active. You sent us an email on (02/15/2019) requesting to cancel your account and you were advised to call the customer support number and the CSR was able to cancel your account on 02/15/2019. On 03/14/2019 you called and wanted to confirm that your account was cancelled.

We want this matter resolved for you, we went ahead and process refund for Gleam and Glow for a total of 209.58. Please allow 5-10 business days depending on your bank's processing time for the credit to reflect back to your account. Rest assured, the account is cancelled and you won't receive any further charges.

If you have further questions or concerns, please feel free to call us at 1-866-218-8576.

Thank you

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
Thank you very much for the refund.
I appreciate it a lot.

I purchased two trial sample and paid on my credit card, two weeks later I was charged additional $209.58
I ordered my two "free" samples on 11/25/2018 and paid with my mastercard for the shipping fee that the company claim only paid for shipment
1) product name: advanced eye treatment
order no: XXXXXX
shipping fee: $5.94
2)product name: anti-aging moisturizer cream
order no: XXXXXX
shippng fee: $4.95
On 12/27/2018 I received my credit card statement indicating gleam and glow charge me another two transactions on Dec12, one is $109.79 and the other is $99.79, I called them immediately, they said I cannot get a refund but will cancel my future shipment and another bottle for free,I don't need another bottle but refund but they insist I did not cancel the free trial within 18 days which I haven't seen when I submit my order, it never say anything about "trial" but "sample", it is totally a scam to trick customer, I am scare that they will keep charging my credit card, I called the credit card center to avoid future payments for this company but they are not able to help. I read online that so many people fall into the same scam as I did, I hope Revdex.com can help me resolve this issue, thank you very much.

Desired Outcome

I would like to have a full refund and hope Revdex.com can do something on this company because it is obviously a scam and to trick people

My information is as follows:

Complaint Type: Advertising/Sales Issues

On November 14th, 2018 I purchased a free 1 oz. trial of Gleam & Glow Anti-Aging Moisturizer for what was suppose to be $4.95 to cover shipping and handling charges. Apparently somewhere on the page there are 'Terms and Conditions' which indicate that the purchaser must contact Gleam & Glow to cease auto-shipping of more products at a cost of $109.79. Personally, this information was not visible to me at all and I fell victim to this unscrupulous marketing tactic. I did receive the 1 oz. trial cream however, since that time I have been billed TWICE for more product - NONE of which has been received by me.

I had contacted my bank to inquire about the charges and was informed of this scam. I will be in touch with the disputes department of my credit card company to investigate any recourse I may have however I do not feel optimistic that the charges can be reversed.

I also contacted Gleam & Glow's customer service department where I was informed that I hadn't cancelled the auto-ship within the two week timeframe, so they would not be able to refund my money - despite the fact that again - I have not received ANYTHING besides the 1 oz. trial moisturizer (which I don't even like anyway!). They did however provide a cancellation number and an email confirmation of same but refused to offer a refund.

As it stands I am out $219.58 for a 1 oz. trial size moisturizer. The marketing strategy for this company needs a serious overhaul. Their sales methods are deceptive, deceitful and misleading!

Desired Outcome: I would like the entire billing of $219.58 refunded to me as well as ALL of my information wiped from their system for any future billings

Please let me know if there is anything further you require.

Customer Response • Jan 23, 2019

I had contacted Gleam & Glow via email further to my Revdex.com complaint to again express my displeasure with their marketing tactics and to also remind them that I had not received any product beyond the initial 1 oz. sample. I did advise them that I had contacted the Revdex.com to file a complaint and would escalate my complaint further until such time as I received a full and complete refund and all of my information deleted from their system.

They did relent and provided a full refund and cancellation number to cease any future billings.

Gleam and Glow advertises a free trial to only pay shipping and handling but was charged the full amount the 2 weeks later.
The company advertised that the customer need to only pay shipping and handling on their anti aging moisturizer and advanced eye treatment to which I availed on Nov. 15th and was charged $4.95 and $5.94. While checking my bank statement, I noticed that on Dec. 3rd, the company charged me $109.79 and $99.79 with reference #XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX & XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX respectively. I called them for clarification only to find out that if the customer didn't cancel the account within 18 days, they will charge the account holder the "full price" of the product to which they have not stated on their ad on Nov. 15th or else I wouldn't bother ordering the said products.

Desired Outcome

I want them to reverse the charges on my credit card with the amount of $109.79 and $99.79.

I ordered the samples of gleam and glow thinking it was only a one time purchase not knowing thy were going start charging me hundreds!
Ordered sample kits from Gleam and Glow not knowing I was going to get charged hundreds!! I was charged $109 and $99 for items I havent even gotten or was notified that product was being sent to me! this website is BULL *** and I want a refund all they could do was cancel my account I apparently made and offer me 1 free product and the charges are only pending right now they wouldnt even cancel that! their customer support is garbage!

Desired Outcome

I want a refund for the $210 that you owe me!

Customer Response • Jan 09, 2019

Yes they finally refunded after many calls and emails! Thank you!

After agreeing to a free trial offer, I was charged for a full month membership with an automatic payment coming off my credit card.
I was offered a free trial of their skin product from an email. I agreed to the offer and provided payment information for the shipping and handling of this and one more product (also offered as a free trial at the time of check out). This order was placed on October 15, 2018. Order #'s XXXXXX and XXXXXX. The amounts I agreed to pay were $5.94 and $4.95 respectively. I did not agree to anything else on their website.
On Sunday, Nov. 4th I noticed a charge to my credit card made on the day of Nov. 2nd/18 for $109.79 by a company called MySkin, which I did not authorize. After looking into it further, found out that it is a bill for the Gleam & Glow product. I did not sign up for this or agree to any monthly order or payment of any kind. I am contacting my credit card company and trying to contact Gleam & Glow with no luck.
Again, to reiterate, I was not informed of nor did I agree to any monthly subscription order from this company and DID NOT authorize a monthly payment.

Desired Outcome

A full refund of the $109.79 charge made to my credit card and a full stop on any further automatic charges. Take me off their contact and payment list. All credit card info must be destroyed.

No indication of charges if not satisfied with trial free sample and no indication of monthly subscription charges.
Gleam and Glow
I would like to file a complaint. I do not agree with how they advertise. I ordered over the phone to get a free trial of the product on October 6, 2018 the eye cream and skin cream and to only pay for shipping. I clearly stated I did not want the eye lash enhancer for $29.00 and they charged me anyway. They said it was a free trial sample. They did not mention monthly subscription or charges. They did not mention of monthly charges or a trail period to cancel purchasing this product. I was offered a free trial and was to
only pay for shipping. On Oct 24, 2018, they listed two charges on my credit card $99.79 for *** and $109.79 for *** I did not receive any email confirmation, account number, invoice or membership information with the product that would suggest that further billing would occur or what that billing would entail (such as date of billing or price of product). On Nov 1, 2018 I contacted customer support requesting a refund and cancellation of any type of account as my credit company informed me that somewhere in the terms and conditions loop hole the company was able to automatically charge me. My request for a refund was refused. I stated that I did not read in the terms and conditions that I had only 14 days to try the product, that I hadn't even tried the product yet and that they advertise that the product takes a month to show any results. I also complained of the lack of confirmation, invoice, account or membership information. I was told that I could not be refunded even if the product was returned at this point. They stated they could offer me more "free" products as compensation. I refused free products. And I insisted on a cancellation confirmation number so I would have no further charges with the sales rep named Chris. I also insisted on an email to confirm cancellation. I want my money refunded for these charges of $99.79 and $109.79

Please help me get my hard earned money returned.
Should I cancel my credit card they have on record?

Desired Outcome

I want the charges on my credit card refunded -- a total of $209.58 ($99.79 + $109.79) I am a senior citizen and cannot afford these charges for something I did not agree as a free trial sample.

Customer Response • Dec 19, 2018

Resolved it today! Thanks

The fine print is way to small apparently as I completely missed it, Received my "samples' in August as agreed. was charged 4.95 and 5,94. Now on my Sept bill I have been charged for product that I did not agree to, 99.79 and 109.79. I have NEVER received this product. Today is October 5th 2018. I spoke to the customer service at 8:31 am MST, cancelled this supposed agreement. Was supposed to receive email of cancellation confirmation, it is 1:09 pm MST, and still nothing. They said they would not reimburse me, but send me "free" product. I told them I did not want product at all. I want my $$$ back.

MY REVIEW The Revdex.com in Florida is aware of issues as many people have complained. I tried to start a complaint process and all it did was loop.

I had to provide a star rating for a company that does not deserve any rating at all.

Gleam and Glow Skin Response • Oct 06, 2018

Please be advised that the following refunds were issued, allowing 3-5 "business" days to post to the customer's account.

10/06/2018 06:05pm Refunded - $109.79
10/06/2018 06:10pm Refunded - $99.79

Thank you.

I paid for skin care products from Gleam&Glow with the understanding of only paying $10.89. I was charged $209.58 after without my consent.
On August 27 of this year I bought RepairSkin and SkinGreat from Gleam&Glow. I was charged a total of $10.89 at the time. On September 12 of this year I was charged an additional amount of $209.58 for the same product. I heard about this product through an ad on Facebook. In the ad, Gleam&Glow was being endorsed by the Dragon's Den. The creators of Gleam&Glow were pitching their skin care products to the dragons as being "a cheap, affordable skin care product for all...." I agreed to pay $10.89 for the "cheap, affordable" skin care products, not the additional $209.58. There is no way I would have agreed to purchase ANY products for that kind of money. I never read any clause when I was making my $10.89 purchase, stating that I would be charged again IF I didn't cancel a so-called subscription?? That I knew nothing about?? Today, I noticed the extra $209.58 added to my CC statement. I tried to find a receipt or proof of purchase from my initial purchase on Aug 27th but can't find a single document where I agreed to ANYTHING..... I'm wondering now, do I need to cancel my credit card? Will there be MORE surprise charges to my credit card? I feel like I've been taken advantage of, and I want my money back. They can have their cream(that I'm afraid to use)back. Can someone please help?

Desired Outcome

I agreed to pay: $5.94 - RepairSkin $4.95 - SkinGreat $10.89 - Total I DID NOT AGREE to pay an additional: $99.79 - RepairSkin $109.79 - SkinGreat $209.58 - Total additional charges. Please refund me 209.58

Thank you.

This company uses fake celebrity endorsements, adds products to orders without consent and has multiple hidden fees.
I saw an ad for a free trial being endorsed by a known celebrity & decided to try it out. Upon ordering, I was taken to various pop ups that unknowingly, were adding products to my order. I did not find out about these added products until after the payment process when I recieved the payment notices. I decided to keep the items and try them out. I then received an email invoice for each of the 3 items for a total of $40.84. I received the items and now I see that in ADDITION to the original amount which I was quoted, I have ALSO been charged another $99.79 and $109.79 for a total of $209.58 (on top of the $40 I have already been charged for) because I was not aware of the 18 day trial policy. There was NO indication about this policy at the time of ordering, nor is anything listed on the invoices either. As well, I was enrolled in an auto ship program where they will continue to charge me for items I do not want nor agreed to pay for. I have contacted the company about this and was first offered a 50% discount only on future orders if I did not cancel, I refused then was offered 70% and two more items. I again refused as I was concerned there would be future hidden charges again and I adamantly requested my account be cancelled. I inquired about a refund and was refused in lieu of the free items.I simply can not afford any more items from this company at these charges.

Desired Outcome

I would like the additional charges of $99.79 and $109.79 reversed on my credit card and to have all accounts closed.

Hi,
Thank you for the work you do!
I received a refund for the funds that they billed to my account. They are using a negative billing scheme in small print. There is a website with people discussing how they are scamming people.

Best,
***

"The two most powerful words when we're in struggle: me too." Brené B.

Also, they called me and pretended like their business practice was legitimate and that they were going to release me from the contract that says they will send me items on a regular basis and bill my credit card.

"The two most powerful words when we're in struggle: me too." Brené B.

Participated in a 30 day "FREE Trial" and after initial charges for delivery was then charged an additional $209.58 without my knowledge or consent.
On Aug 24th, 2018 I enrolled in a FREE trial of Gleam and Glow Product. Then on September 11th, 2018 I was automatically charged an additional $209.58 onto my VISA from the company. Upon inquiry I was told this was a condition of the free trial to be automatically enrolled in a subscription service in which there was no indication that this was going to occur when I signed up for the trial, nor did I consent to it. I have immediately cancelled this so-called subscription with cancellation number XXXXXX. But was told I will not be refunded the $209.58 that was charged to my VISA without my knowledge or consent. This company has taken advantage of me and misused my contact information and VISA to steal money from me with no email confirmation or notification of any sort beforehand. As a result they have maxed out my VISA leaving me no money to pay for groceries for my 3 year old child.

Desired Outcome

I wish to be refunded the $209.58 that was charged to my VISA on Sept 11th, 2018.

I am satisfied. I requested a refund and recieved it in full, my bank account reflects this refund.

Thank you so much Revdex.com for your help! I will not fall prey to this type of scam again.

Charging me for subscription I wasn't aware I signed up for, false celebrity advertising
I ordered some skincare on sale through this company. I had no idea it was a subscription. It did say I could get a refund within 30 days. Well, a week after I received the product, I am being charged 210$ for more product at full price. I called them and they will not refund me at all, they offered to send me free products but I said no, I want a refund I do not want to be on a subscription. They told me I had 18 days and I didn't contact them within 18 days... but originally it had said 30 days. Also, they count the 18 days from the day they ship, not the day it is received. They were also advertising with Ellen Degenerous, which really convinced me to buy it and it's fake. They just posted her photo with the product and made up a fake advertisement.

Desired Outcome

I want a refund of 209.58$ for products I did not order. I would also like their advertisement to be changed, tricking people into the subscriptions is clearly how they make their money. The products are low quality and extremely overpriced.

My wife responded to a "free trial" offer from this organization she was subsequently billed $218 on June 20. After complaining to their customer service no (Jeff D. - seems to be the only one to man the complaint booth) a credit was put through her Mastercard account. However on the same day July 20, another charge for $218 was illegally put through her account. I phoned again this morning (yes, Jeff D. answered) and he said that a credit had been processed against this additional illegal charge but that we wouldn't see it for a few weeks. My wife has not yet received her August statement so we do not know if this has actually happened. Our concern is that the internet is full of complaints against this company by others who have been scammed exactly the same way and for the same amount.Thank you

Desired Outcome

Other (requires explanation) Credit against ***'s Mastercard account (as they have done previously).
