as stated in my last email  [redacted] is more then welcome to come or call the car wash to see the video tape, on her convenience. we will do our best to make it clear that ,what she is upset about did not happen at the wash and was there before entering the car wash. we, now and always want a good relationship with our costumers and would like [redacted] to return as one.

Review: I brought my brand new(January [redacted], 2015) black, 2015 Mercdes Benz GLK 350 4matic SUV to get a car wash at the Glen Cove Car Wash. I explained I didn't want them to use a brush on the car before it goes into the car wash because I don't want swirl marks that these brushes create, especially on black paint surfaces. I purchased the wash package that included all the odds and ends that included extra waxes, uva protection, hand cleaning the inside of doors, etcetera. I paid $22.00 plus a $1.00 because my vehicle is an SUV. As I stood on the side where the vehicles exit, I began to look over my suv and immediately noticed a big gash under my rear driver side door. As the guys are continuing to dry the car off I started to notice swirls from where the man was drying it with a towel. I walked over and asked them why that was happening and addressed the gash to them. They did not understand a word I said and walked away. I than walked back inside the waiting room to explain to who I believe to be one of the owners. As he questioned me regarding the damage I asked him if he would please come out so he can look at it himself. I than explained to him that this mark was not there before entering the car wash. Without even addressing the matter he stated "It was there" and "it could not have happened in the car wash". I told him it did happen there and asked if he had video or camera's so I could prove it wasn't there. He than stated " what do you want me to do" shrugged his shoulders and walked back inside. I left to go home 7mins away and speak to my husband. When I arrived home my husband was in shock and outrage that the car wash did such damage to a brand new SUV that I barely drive because I am a stay at home mom of a 21 month old little girl. He said to go back and file a police report. I went back to the car wash waited for the last car to finish because I did not want to make a scene. I walked back in and exclaimed to the [redacted] that I have to make a police report due to the damage his employees or machine did to my car. I walked outside and called the Glen Cove Police Dpartment. When the police officer clearly noticed the damage and how suspicious that the damage was on the one side of the vehicle and all the scratches and damage are all on the same side also pointing out how filthy the vehicle still was. So I received a file number and will receive a copy of the police report on Wednesday. I have not drive the car anywhere since and today I noticed a gash on the side wall of my rear tire the same height of the gash in my door.Desired Settlement: I would like my vehicle repaired. I don't even want a refund for the wash, I just want my SUV to be in the condition it was before entering the car wash. Meaning the damage this business made on the drivers side of my SUV the scratches, swirl marks, gash and tire be fixed to the way they were originally. Thank you!
