Glen Rieff self storage

Review: I purchased a 1980 Itasca Motorhome located at Glen Rieff self storage from [redacted] the manager and his partner. They failed to inform my father and I that this was a salvage vehicle. This vehicle was also unsafe to drive and went into a death wobble at 45 mph. I contacted [redacted] on the phone and he claimed he was aware of both these problems. They also failed to even have the title signed by a [redacted] which this was another party. They probably got this vehicle because the man did not pay his storage fees. If this vehicle had been repaired it should have said revived salvage according to California dmv. In California vehicle code 11515 if a private seller does not disclose the fact that you are buying a salvaged vehicle it is a $500 fine. Now I am stuck with this vehicle and who knows how much it will cost to be inspected or repaired in Nevada. It could have been in a wreck and could even have a bent frame.Desired Settlement: At this time I feel it is possible this vehicle could end up back in a salvage yard and I borrowed 2k from my father to purchase it. When they advertised it they said everything works. I have put $900 and 2 months work in this motorhome repairing, leaking roof, roof paneling to replace, plumbing leaks, bad hot water heater also leaking. Have not even had the front end wobble checked out. I have called Pete ample times and feel he is stringing me along. My Dad wants $1000 of his money back.

The complainant is not now nor ever has been a known customer or tenant of Glen Rieff Storage. Glen Rieff Storage does not now nor has it ever sold vehicles as a regular part of it's business practice. That said there have been, in my 15 years of ownership, 2 vehicles sold at auction for delinquent rents owed after going through due processes of a lien sale. Sale prices of those 2 vehicles were less than the amount owed in rents and fees for storage. The vehicle in question had been stored at GRS and the monthly account on it was never delinquent. GRS had no part, say or gain of any sort in the sale of the vehicle listed in the complaint. The complainant, I believe, responded to a Craigslist ad for the vehicle not posted for or by GRS.
