I rented a property from this company and left the place in pristine condition and they are still trying to keep a portion of my deposit
I rented one of their properties in February They gave me day no cause to get out so I fulfilled my leaseI asked for an extension to my lease because I was nervous that I wasn't going to be able to secure and pay for a place in daysThey denied my request for extra timeI was out of the house by the date requested which was April 4,I had professionals come in and clean the carpets as requested and I had the property looking excellent (which I have pictures of)Me and the property management companies handy man and a representative from the management company did a walk throughThey complained that there were two very small nail holes in the wall and that I didn't degrease the stove (which is considered wear and tear under renters rights)We walked through the bedrooms and nothing was said until we went into the master
The company placed me in a home with water damageWhen damage was reported the remedy was to paint over the water damaged spots
*** was negligent in the way they handled a report of water damage in a home we were rentingI independently hired an outside contractor to test the home for mold and the levels in all areas tested require mold remediationThe property management company is currently holding our security deposit "hostage" because of nail holes in the wall and the washer and dryer we're not cleaned to their standardI have two small children and needless to say we we're in a hurry to get out of the home but took great care of the home and left it in excellent condition given the fact they are going to have to remove drywall to conduct the mold remediationWe hired a professional cleaning company to clean the home and had the carpets cleaned prior to our move out inspectionThis company is the reason property management companies have a bad nameThe customer service
