We went out to repair oil lines on November 20, and during that repair the technician re-attached the pulley wheel on the blower motor, but mentioned to the owner that it may not last and that the pulley needs to be replacedWe were called back out on January 30, that the pulley wheel had come off againThe same technician was dispatched and he replaced the pulley remembering that he had explained it to the owner the last time he was there (the owner left the house unlocked for us to access, he did not meet us at this visit)We then called the homeowner after the repair to collect for the pulley replacementHe called us back on February 23, to say that the pulley wheel had fallen off again, and the dispatcher scheduled for a return visit and Ed asked to be called first regarding any charges because he was going to leave the house unlocked againOur tech asked the office to call and let him know that if the pulley wasn't staying on it may be the blower shaft in which case we pull the blower replace the shaft and bearings, remount the pulley and reinstall the blower - it is not a couple weeks to do that, usually same day - and the cost can be up to $When we called to inform him we did not refuse to come out, merely advised himHe told the office that he did not want us to come out, but that he would try to tighten the set screw and see if that fixed itWe did not hear back until March 30, when he called to ask for a partial refund on the repair from February We refunded $+ sales tax from that visit
