I paid almost 10k for the attestation of the degrees and they keep promise it will be done , however despite a lot expediting and discussion, they never kept the promise or updates when I complaint to them they kept mentions is not their fault but the rule keeping in UAE

I hope someone can actually looks into this matter as this being dragging for a few months now even I send email to them , no response from them , I hope someone can advise me how to get back any compensation or legal action on the subject

Review: have signed up for a engineering degree with a online university called Glenford University, I especially chose them because they assured me when I first registered that once I complete my courses I will receive a degree legalized and accredited by the US department and most impotently legalized from the embassy of the [redacted] in Washington DC. Since Im working in Dubai at the moment. While I was registering with them, this information was being typed in a chat box that clearly stated that legalization and accreditation is included in the fee I was about to pay. I was promised that the chat box will be saved and emailed to me as proof which never happened. I emailed the university asking them to email the information as promised and they replied saying that they are having technical difficulties (please see attached Glenford Revdex.com) After a while I started receiving phone calls asking me to pay more money to upgrade my studies and when I completed 4 courses, I got a phone call asking me to pay $500 so they can send me a diploma for the 4 courses. I was extremely uncomfortable at this point and was not sure who I was dealing with. I called the university and spoke to a DR. [redacted] who was very professional with me and told me that there is no such fee that I had to pay and that he would send me my diploma which he did right away. I asked him to confirm with me what I have signed up for since I was getting calls from the university asking me to pay for accreditation and legalizing my documents and he mentioned that what I was told originally when I signed up was correct and that Im supposed to receive a degree once I have finished a total of 14 courses which will be accredited and legalized from the US and UAE. I asked [redacted] to send me this in an email since I was worried this was a big scam and he did. (Please see attached telephone conversation) Once I completed my courses I contacted [redacted] who told me he was going to send the degree as promised. A few days later I received the degree and it was not accredited or legalized. When I tried to contact [redacted] I got an extremely rude and aggressive person from the accreditation and legalization department who said the information I was given was all wrong and I had to pay an extra $2950 for my documents to be processed correctly. I asked him to send me an email with this information so I can have it in writing and he sent me the attached (Glenford Revdex.com)Desired Settlement: I feel that the university should keep their word from the first day I signed up for their program and send me my degree accredited and legalized as promised. If the cost was mentioned form day 1, we would not have had this problem

In 2014 I was looking to better myself and go back to university. As I was at the time working abroad in Saudi Arabia I believed the best way to do this was to complete an online diploma whilst working. I found what seemed to be a great course with [redacted]. After a payment of $5774 was made I received my course content and began studying intensely.

Finally, in April 2015 I completed the course with a GPA of 4.0 and received my certificates with official sigantures through the post. As im sure you can imagine I was thirlled. I secured a job in [redacted].

Last week, I wanted to turn my diploma into a bachelor degree so did a [redacted] search for [redacted], only to find out a company in [redacted] called [redacted] had been providing fake degrees.

I quickly looked at my certificates and saw [redacted] Signature, [redacted] signature (Director, Office of Notary Commissions and Authentications)

I contacted [redacted] who said she can confirm it is her signature however she does not know if the document is fake as her office authenticates that the document brought to her has been notarized by a notary public in the District of Columbia, they do not authenticate docuements. Which to me does not make sense as she is from the Authentications office.

I am now at a huge loss, I don't know where to turn to get justice for the time and effort I put into this qualification. I realize the two men responsible for this have scammed alot of people out of thousands of dollars, meaning my chances of getting any form of compensation are very minimal however there must be something that can be done? As now I am back to having no qualifications which hinders my chance of finding employment in Qatar.

Any help or guidance that you can offer me will be massively appreciated.
