I am rejecting this response because: the car was taken to [redacted] to have a recall done on the brakes and we asked them to have a look at the leak, they told us that the car has been in the shop before for an history of leaking before, this should have been part of the service history, it had been leaking for years, we were surprised about this.  I have talked to the owner ([redacted]) on the phone and he told me that he would look into this and call me back that day but never did.  the sale rep who sold the car told us that he would put the repair under the warrenty but then either left the company or was let go.  As of today the car is still leaking and the extra key was never given to us.  they told us that the car we traded in for $3000 off the price but only 600 was taken off the price of the car.  I think that [redacted] could have resolved this issue with Me ([redacted]) or my Son [redacted] by following through with what he said he would do and not avoid it.  I have bought many a cars in my day and never have I ever had an issue this a company like [redacted] Auto and his repair shop Art Crowe autobody.

[redacted] came back to us with a few issues after vehicle purchase, even though extended warranty was OFFERED and DECLINED by customer, and we had no obligation to take care of any issues because of decline, we had decided to rectify issues at out...

cost (parts as well as labour) Each issue [redacted] has was handled at our location, with no charge to him as well as a free vehicle off of our lot supplied to him at no charge to drive while his vehicle was being fixed. [redacted] also expresses that his issues were mostly in [redacted] however then brought in his [redacted] to purchase a vehicle in April. Based on the complaints he is currently making that occurred in [redacted], clearly he was satisfied as to how issues were taken care of in order to bring another customer to our location to purchase a vehicle as well. The parts list [redacted] supplies are parts that easily with months of driving on our [redacted] roads with the treacherous winter we had as well as the poor road conditions, pot holes etc.. (brake pads, struts, rotors)would need to be replaced. We deal with several mechanics for our business and these parts were among the most common that needed to be replaced on vehicles upon renewing MVI. We did our best to finance and find these customers exactly what they were looking for. As you can see via the forwarded conversations if it was not one issue, it was another, not only vehicle wise, but also spilling over into personal problems.

adamant that the stereo needed to be changed, also no problem. The paint was corrected where asked. A meltdown at service new Brunswick from her son was unnecessary as the registration was in the process of being changed. However, if you read through the messages and email you can see very clearly that there are several issues stated that have no bearing on a car purchase. Depression is a medical condition caused by a chemical imbalance, and it is not ok or just to claim this is a condition caused by a vehicle. I have no doubt that an entire family moving into her home as well as a broken washer cause for a stress filled environment. However, Rob Crowe Auto will not take the blame for these medical/lifestyle issues.
When the vehicle was sold there was absolutely no signs of water damage, or leaks. It was parked outside in the lot with the rest of the units for sale. Had the roof of been leaking at this point it would have been noticed by our staff as well as these customers upon purchase. Upon investigation into what could have caused this problem, it turns out that it is an after market sunroof that had been installed. Apparently something as simple as changing the stereo out could potentially cause a short, which in turn could cause the sunroof to not close completely, which would make perfect sense in this situation. It may be easily corrected by a reset of a sequence of events. Our last contact with these customers was a phone call, in which we received voicemail and left a message asking them to come in and we would try this. Even though it is not our responsibility and after all of the derogatory comments and complaints from this customer.
