Everything Ms*** is complaining about is extra work that I did not charge her for, I was just helping out because she is planning on selling her houseregarding the carpet we had agreed on a budget of $1,and Ms*** went to the carpet store and picked out another carpet that cost $
4,which was out of the budget by $I was notified by the carpet company by email so I then called Ms*** to tell her the price difference and she said the difference of $was too muchAs far as the electrical plugs I also did that service at no charge, the only thing I need to do to complete this part is to put back the plates on the wall and I have them at her houseWe also fixed an electrical plug in the kitchen under the cabinet at no chargeAs far as cleaning the floor in the kitchen that also is at no charge, we just haven't done it because I want to do that when we are not tracking in and out of her houseThank you***/E & B Painting & Construction Co Inc

Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because:1. I have never refused entry to Mr*** or his contractors or his employees for any reason. I have no complaints about his employees or contractors. They were professional. The painters were not allowed to complete the work they started because he called them to another job. 2. Yes, I have been in contact with Mr*** by phone and text. I have a record of promises not kept.3. State law mandates that outlets in close proximity to water must be upgraded. They have not. No, they will not pass inspection.4. I was prepared to leave the home whenever is necessary. Nothing was ever scheduled. 5. The floor has not been cleaned or buffed. He did promise to take care or the stains.Regards,*** ***

To respond to Ms***:1. I have been in constant contact with Ms*** and I can show how many times I have called or returned her calls with my phone records and I can get a copy of them, also by textIn regards to not letting my painters in her house is also the only reasons we did not go to her home was either she was not feeling well on the day we were going or she had doctors appointments or errands to run.3. The outlets are safe and will pass inspection, we did nothing to jeopardize them other then we removed the plates to paint around the outlets but like I said before I have the plate covers in her garage and will put them back onAs far as the counter top I explained to Ms*** that the product that is used to re surface the counter tops are very toxic and she would have to leave the home for approximately hours and she is aware of thisWe are not replacing or repairing the floors we are just going to buff and clean them to remove as much of the stains out as we canAgain she is aware of this. Like I stated before all of the above projects are things I am doing at no charge to Ms***, I was just trying to help her out because she is or was planning to sell her townhome and she knows all of this is freeAll I was doing was to help a nice lady out and this is what happens when you try to help someone outI finished all of the work she has paid me for all of these other items are all again FREEI will gladly finish what I said I would do (the free projects) we just need to get together and work out a time and day that will work for both of us.Thank you***/E & B Painting & Construction Co Inc

I am rejecting this response because: I am totally disappointed in Mr***'s response to my complaint. He never called or came to complete the jobs as promised. Instead he blames me.1. He never allowed his painters to finish the work as he promised.2. He never did any work on the unsafe outlets which will never pass inspection.3. He never sent anyone to repair and update the counters.4. He never sent anyone to repair the wood floor in the kitchen/dining room.5. When we began he told me he did not do carpets. Then he brought carpet samples from a 'buddy' who had bought someone's leftover stick. I chose a sample. He then misplaced his note and asked me to go to a local store. A lady there explained that this piece had a recurring pattern that had to be matched. Therefore it would be more expensive. I chose another piece. Her estimate came and was too high. Mr*** told me not to worry I would not have to pay that high amount. He never told me what the solution would be
