There is no way that the above review from 01/2019 is truthful because Glenn Thompson as been in jail for theft, drugs, bad checks, and probation violations. He has been invoked with these arrests since 2016 and was arrested MULTIPLE times since then through today. In February of 2016 I gave Glenn Thompson a $53,000 20% deposit on a home to be built in ***, NC. After numerous lies and missed dates I cancelled the contract and requested a full refund. He admitted he owed me the $53,000 but said he didn't have it. To date, I have sued him civilly and won for both, breach of contract and unfair and deceptive trade practices and our settlement is $176,000. I still have not seen one cent of the money he owes me. DO NOT USE THIS PERSON FOR ANYTHING! Buyer beware!

From the date we originally meet with Glenn to the date we signed our mortgage, we were highly satisfied Glenn was very flexible with all of our add on request's He answered all my call's or text's and reassured if we had any issue's or concern's he would handle immediately We LOVE our HOME and when we need to build bigger Glenn Thompson Contracting, Incwill be our first phone call

We built our very first home several years ago in *** with Glenn Thompson and like any home, there were issuesUnless it was a big deal, emergency, etche advised us to write the issues down on a punch list and we would meet again to review the items at our year meetingThat meeting did occur and our items were fixedWe even had an issue with our Septic pump/lines a few times over the course of years after the initial warranty expired and he still offered to help outWhen it came time to move out of our starter home, my wife and I were not looking to buildWe did not want to go through the process but after looking at the market, nothing seemed to fitThat is when Glenn reached his hand out yet againHe came to our house, sat down and went over some details then presented us with a floor planHe allowed us to make changes to the entire floorplan and was upfront on all costs, upgrades, etc during the processHe also made sure to always keep in touch during each stage of the building processThe entire process of building the house was a breezeHe even helped us get our old home prepared to sell and looking niceWe closed on our 2nd Glenn Thompson built home in February of Since then, we have had some minor issues and each time Glenn has either sent a crew out to repair the issue or advised us on a point of contactNever have we been given the run aroundNow, there have been times when the repair has been slow to be scheduled or taken care of but what I have noticed ishis turn around times for repairs are based on severity of the issue (as it should be)If it is a paint issue, it will take a few weeks but when we found a wet spot in my sons closet from rain after a bad storm, he was out the next day and found the source of the issueThat issue was then taken care of along with a few other minor issues on our punch list while he was hereI would recommend him and have recommended him to several people in the pastHe has gone above and beyond to help my family out even when he didnt have to which to me says it all

Glen built our home in [redacted] and working with him was an absolute pleasure! He went above and beyond from day one all the way through, even after our one year inspection. I was very impressed with his attention to detail, caring demeanor, and quality of his work. I would definitely build with him in the future!

Glenn Thompson built my house in 2008. And I'm absolutely just as in love with it now as I was then.
