Glens Falls Hospital

I went to the hospital to get my labs drawn as I am a recent transplant patient. Was told by security at the door I couldn’t have my labs drawn(Due to holiday) but to go see what could be done. I went down to the outpatient lab and was told by a lady sitting at the desk they were doing covid testing only. When I asked her where should I go she waved her hand in my face and said idk that’s not my problem. I went back to the front security area and ask for a number to make a complaint and was refused by the security guard. She instead called the in patient lab who said they would send someone to speak to me and for me to wait at in the out patient lab lobby. So back I walk to the lab and I wait 15mins watching the same lady be so nice and pleasant to every patient that comes up not treating them the way she treated or talked to me. A nurse walks up and goes behind the desk and says there’s a lady sitting there she said I know and then in a mocking voice she goes she wants labs cause she’s a transplant patient. the nurse said oh ok I think they are sending someone up. The other lady response is oh we’re always catering to these people. I am beyond embarrassed and disgusted with how I was treated. No one told me on Thursday when I was there that the lab would be closed. And I didn’t ask anyone to cater to me but I do think I deserve to be treated with dignity and respect especially when I’ve shown you nothing but. I will not ever set foot in a place whose nursing staff treats ppl like that. It clearly slows they don’t care and if it was a life saving emergency because I am those people they wouldn’t give me the best care I deserve. Very disheartening! I would give no star if I could but it forced me to give one.
