Our recreational vehicle broke down on I-77 on 4/23/2017 at approximately 5:45 PM. Your team was dispatched at 6:27 PM and on the scene at 6:50 PM. They left the scene at 7:16 PM as documented on the original bill. Your team then FORGED this document (I have evidence of this illegal act on video).

At a rate of $225/hour for a tow fee, your company, should have been a total of $225 to tow us from our location to your shop. This is seen on your bill which shows 1 hours worth of work.

This document was then illegally forged, with video evidence I can provide, from your staff manager George & team. They wrote in a 2.25 hour charge after they realized they messed up as seen on video.

I was eventually charged and paid for a bill of fraudulent charges totaling $849.34 after George lied to my face on a recorded video. He forged the document after he realized the mistake he made. He said "I know how much it costs to tow and I just wrote this down". I have documentation showing what the cost was prior to what your team illegally wrote after they realized the mistake they made.

Your team failed to contact me at all after I reached out multiple times throughout this entire process.

I went to your business on 4/25/2017 after nobody contacted me and explained I am going to get a second opinion since your team said the engine was SHOT and had no chance of fixing. Glen's Towing quoted us $9,000 to fix this problem. This was the assessment they made after ONLY turning on the RV and listening to the engine. No further investigation occurred. THIS IS WRONG.

Our RV is now at a different shop and the engine DOES NOT NEED REPLACED.

I am seeking a refund and expect a response within 2 weeks time (by 5/9/2017). I am in good faith, seeking the cooperation of the company in this matter and that if the issues remain unresolved I will seek formal dispute resolution assistance.

The complaint has been reviewed and the following is offered. The towing portion of the bill was changed after George over charged the customer by one half hour. The changes reflect a lower price. No forgery occurred or fraudulent actions unless they prefer to overpay. I would suggest that the complainant brush up on the legal definition of the actions they are accusing us of prior to making erroneous allegations. The bill reflects a service truck and call out to the interstate, under 2 hours towing, one hour labor in the shop for diagnosis. The owner was told that we do not rebuild engines or work on internal components, just replace with Jasper engines that have a nationwide warranty so that would be the confusion on his version and ours on the diagnosis. If someone else is willing to work on internal engine components and take the chance on the repair, that is their option. There will be no refund offered for towing and service callouts offered. The complainant was given a copy of the bill with our regulated rates as well as the contact information for the Public Service Commission which oversees the rates and regulations covering towing. If they choose to go outside of the regulating agency of state government to seek resolution and seek formal dispute resolution, this matter will be forwarded to our legal representatives.Chris PGlen's Towing & Road Service, LLC

The way this entire process was handled was extremely unprofessional and done with zero integrity. You cannot deny the towing bill was not written up properly and was changed after the fact the error was discovered by your team.
If you do not repair engines, then why did you tell me I 100% needed a new engine? Why did you not let another party come on to the property to simply listen to the engine and see if it sounded like it needed repaired or replaced?
This is because your crew knew, just by turning on the motor, that it likely did not need fully replaced and just needed a a simple fix. However, your team preyed on us and tried to replace our engine with a brand new one, then taking our old engine and keeping it/selling it to another person.
How could you possibly not allow someone on your property to possibly fix something you guys "can't fix/choose not to fix due to your business choice"? This is because you wanted to save face and rip me off. How is this right? We tried to get another repairman to look at the motor and you guys kicked him off your property.
You wasted an entire day by lying to us that you'd let us know the problems we had. Thus burning another unnecessary night in a hotel. Then, once we called around and heard awful things about you guys and how you operate internally, we decided to get the RV out of there. This took us over three painful hours as your team purposefully ignored us. Once after George was angry, he even said "I'm going to lunch, I can't handle this."
You gave us an improper diagnosis and then wouldn't even allow us to have someone look at it. The right thing to have done is say "we don't do engine replacements, but I think it's an easy fix and you should go somewhere else". However, you lied about what was wrong and told us we need to replace the engine.
The least you can do is refund us the cost of one nights stay in a hotel for the amount of $77 and also the $160 shop fee for the improper diagnosis and the fact you did not spend an hour investigating this. This can be sent to me through check to my home address.

I would like to express my sincerest gratitude for all the help I received from the employees at Glen’s Towing. Everyone was extremely helpful with my unfortunate breakdown in my 2006 Pontiac Vibe Dec 20th. There’s nothing like trying to start your car in a different Country, relatively isolated area, alone; and it doesn’t start. Especially 5 days before Christmas! I really felt like I was in good hands, especially with Tony. He is by far one of the most ‘people person’ individuals I have ever met. From trying to fix my car, to ensuring I had a roof above my head at Day’s Inn for the night; the experience was like being with family.
I would also like to express gratitude to the shop for having my car being looked at and fixed first thing in the morning so I could continue my journey to Florida for a Family Christmas Holiday. It was a 19-hour drive from Canada, and Glen’s Towing helped make a stressful situation very comfortable and worry free. I sincerely mean that.
